    Deadlift Bars (Rogue Fitness)

I deadlifted with a rogue fitness "Rogue Bar" today and the flex/whip felt good on it. Im liking the price of the rogue bars. Does Rogue Fitness have a specific "deadlift bar", like an okie or texas? Loved the flex of the bar, but i wanted a little more aggressive knurl. Set a deadlift PR with that bar today (500x5) at the public gym. I have iron wolf squat and bench bars at the house, but they are expensive. Thanks.

If you have the dough to spend that much on bars, why not just get a normal texas dl bar? They're like 450 w/ shipping

i did not purchase those bars, my father did. I live behind him, so we share the gym. He bought the Iron Wolfe bars used from Mark Challeit at York Barbell Meets (he's an IPA judge). I dont deadlift as much as i squat, so i was just lookin to get a reasonably priced good bar.

There's only a few actual deadlift bars you can buy and none of them are "cheap".

Texas DL bar is $350 + shipping from WWFitness though.

Don't ignore the shipping, I have no idea what Capps charges but it's being shipped from Texas.

Not trying to be a dick, but if my Dad provided 2 $1000+ barbells (I know he bought them used but still) I'd do my best to "chip in" so to speak

You're just not going to find a 7' bar that will be flex like a DL bar and survive the abuse of heavy deads

$420 shipped was the very best price I could get for a TDB when I looked.

I remember calling Weightlifters Warehouse and getting a shipping quote to NY, and it was like $65. YMMV.

Well considering the fact that 1)I did not ask for them, there were already barbells in there, 2)He doesn't squat or deadlift, 3)I have purchased other accessory equipment, and 4)This is chipping in for a deadlift bar that only i will use.

I inquired about the rogue bar because i used one today and liked it better than using our old stiff York bar for deadlifts. I just wanted more knurl on the rogue bar, which is like $40 cheaper shipped than an Okie bar. Ive done a little more research on the bars.

I don't think rogue makes a DL bar. Honestly the texas deadlift bar is the gold standard for DL bars. If you're gonna spend the money on a specialty bar for DL, I can't imagine anything else.

Yea, thats what Im doing. TDB it is. Im curious now to see how my deadlift goes using a deadlift specific bar. Aside from just using them in competition, straining balls for a single.
