Well to be honest I rarely ever eat fast food.. not big fan of junk/processed food, really. But on road trips or times when I just want a quick bite, I'll hit up a burger joint.

Additionally the companies that conduct slave labor are doing so illegally. No company in UAE is allowed to take anyone's passport and hold them hostage for how ever long, that's illegal. There is on the other hand weird policies with companies that hire you on a contract of 1-5 years (average) and you're not allowed to break away from it, if you do the consequence is not being able to work in the same field / position with another company in the region, which is awkward. There is legal ways of course to break away from a contract if its impacting your personal life in a negative way.

As for the social aspect of it, because it's majority expats, there's gated communities all around *****, in fact it's the majority in the type of neighborhoods, these neighborhoods is like living in a nation outside of ***** in the sense of how you interact with others and how you dress. Also for expats, they do not have to follow such a strict social guideline, they do after all get to drink their alcohol (for example) if they want, they just have to pay high price for the product. The expat women do not need to dress as modest as Muslim women do.

I have friends in England, I feel bad for you guys. Like from what I hear English cooking is tantamount to torture, a 5 star English chef is a McDonalds fry chef elsewhere etc etc. Like looking at English puddings, and traditional english cooking elicits a gag reflex and I don't even have to smell it.

Honestly I think the biggest reason we revolted from England had to be we found out that food can actually taste good and wanted to divorce ourselves from England so people know we aren't with those guys. 5 guys is the real deal.... which makes mcd's and bk subpar when looking for a quick burger. Once you eat real meat (80-20 fat ratio) the frozen hockey puck burgers are hard to swallow. There are countless other superior options in cities all over the country so this thread is really very funny since only kids and old people still go to bk. Oh and people at the mall, since it is still at most major malls.

Yeah it was just a guesstimate. It's funny though, for the most part, the natural citizens are the top dogs, well at least they make/have some serious bank.
