    Talking Mari's Keto Journey

Started Keto yesterday morning (Monday April 6th) after a massive Easter dinner . Im not new to keto, but figured id log this journey this time around. Started to feel that metalic taste in my mouth early this afternoon,, did the keto stix showed medium ketones. Pretty blown away that i could get into ketosis this quick, though i do eat rather low carb,, fruit and veggies being my primary source. So here we go:

    Stats

    5'3
    140lbs
    22% BF

Goal is to get down to 125lbs @ 14-15% bodyfat for competition in Sept.

Note: weight has not budged for almost a year regardless of what i do, very frustrating,, though i have to say ,, my diet has not been bang on. Knowing that i have to step on the stage will hopefull light the fire under my arse !

    Workout:

    Delts

    Machine shoulder press 70lbs
    DB shoulder press 60lbs
    side lateral raises 20x2 ,, 40 lbs
    cable side raise 5lbs

    plate front raise 35lbs
    dumbell front raise 15x2 ..30lbs
    cable front raise 5lbs

bent over rear delt fly 20x2 ..40lbs
    reverse pec deck fly 70lbs
    cable reverse fly 7.5lbs
    cable l-flys 5lbs

    usually 12 rep / 3sets

cardio was a long walk,, legs are still sore from leg workout 3 days ago ,, was a killer ...

    Diet

    coffee with cream

Breakfast: 2 eggs, 3 sausage rounds

    Lunch: chicken thigh

    coffee with cream

    Snack: homemade keto cookies

Dinner: turkey, gravy (ya ya i know) asparagus with coconut oil 1 tspn

shake before bed : .75 scoop of power whey, 1 cup almond milk, 1 tbsp peanut butter

    Macros

    58:8:34

    Cal approx 1400
    Fat : 92g
    Carbs 26 Net 21
    Protein 122

Any input would be great,,not sure if im eating enough. Can barely choke down what i did,, as im not hungry.
Hoping the legs arent as sore so i can do some fasted cardio tomorrow .

Good job with your journey so far, keep killing it!

I did want to ask what brand of bread this is that you are eating? I have really wanted to have a sandwich or bacon cheeseburger but have not found viable bread.....

Its called dream bread by Bakers Delux i order it from http://www.thelowcarbgrocery.com/ .. its a local company, ( Im in Vancouver BC ) . If you are international the shipping charges will be more. I suggest you check out the website for more info, and if you do order,, order alot and freeze it. Its absolutely amazing,, nothing like a grilled cheese, and its all fiber. There are pita, pasta, flatbreads, etc, all high in fiber practically 0 carbs. Its been a lifesaver! Good luck!

Id like to note: my weight has actually gone up 2 pounds.. so at 142,, BUT : abs are more defined and well as delts. Ive been lifting super heavy,, making some serious gains. I still would like to see the scale go south . It seem to be getting harder and harder ,, turned 46 today,, so im not gonna beat myself up, doing not to bad.
