Well whether you like the guy or not or Obamacare as a whole at least he has done something to actually try to help people get basic medical care without bankrupting themselves. The right wing politicians generally could care less about you getting ripped off or whether you don't go to the doctor & end up dying as a result, they are only interested in rich people.

I know he did this because he is a good man who just wants what is best for our country.

I grew up very right-wing in a conservative household...under a comfortable and wealthy family....I've moved out on my own and had some periods of struggling...feel like I been on both sides almost and if I'm ever rich myself, I'm going to love to give to people and would deserve to be thanked just like Hound deserves to be thanked and praised.

You're welcome since I'm the one paying for it... for people who don't want to get their own insurance, get a job, or whatever else.. Glad I could be of assistance paying astronomical medical prices to help support those who won't support themselves.

That is the way the NHS works-everybody pays through taxation & everybody gets a basic level of care. Always been amazed the most powerful country charges people insane money just to get help for getting ill or being born/inheriting medical conditions.

Home deliveries here are usually free or cheap from Tesco, Sainsbury's etc.

Patience and respect for Thor's feelings, and when my formerly abused boxer Bailee (RIP) got to my home, and was standoffish, cowering, etc. I used rewards to gain her obedience and trust. Treats to get her to do something she'd normally be afraid to. And I used a harness over a lease so not to go near her head (dominance) as most like that are very skittish over touching their head, or their paws. They don't let you unless they trust you normally. They feel better petted behind ears, it's a sense of security.

Rewards, love on him, and exercise patience.

Thing is that the UK system of healthcare and ACA aren't even remotely similar.

And as I like to remind my British friends, the USA has subsidized the R&D component of the health care system for the rest of the world for the last 50 years allowing other countries with socialized health care systems to keep their costs artificially low. That's only going to get worse now that price controls are being implemented in the US.

And the NHS is going broke. Not exactly a system I'd want to model our healthcare system after.
