I'll make up my mind by tomorrow or Weds whether or not to evac. Already went out this weekend to get supplies if I don't. This one looks as bad as Matthew did when it was coming in last year, and we got really lucky with Matthew not making landfall in FL.

Recent models seem to have it staying south. There will be so much damage if it makes a direct hit to Miami

My dad got my plywood panels and hurricane hooks and screws to board up my windows. He bought them because I went to Home Depot and the shelves were all out of wood. he happened to know someone who had enough. Neighbor and I cut them to size to fit my windows.

Today I filled 3 big jugs with gas and the lines were insane nevermind the hike in prices. But got those filled for the power generator in case. And my tank for the grill. Got 3 5 gallon jugs of water, too.

Should be fine, gonna ride out. Daughter is with her mom and step sibs next week, where they'd better keep her safe.

Me and the dogs. The reptile cages I don't care, If I need to i'll clear out my walk in closet and go in there with only a mattress and the dogs.
