Recommend me a cheap but good putter misc brahs. One of my customers hooked me up with his old golf set of golf clubs but its missing the putter. Put a few solid sessions at the driving range and I've been practicing in the front yard a few days a week with those plastic golf balls. My accuracy and hitting has gotten a lot better and I'm considering trying out a 9 hole course. Any pointers would also be helpful.

Picked up a six pack of summer shandy for $6 (the guy at counter messed up) to take on the course, got out there driving was terrible but my iron game was great, and my short game was the best it's been all season so overall I scored well. Also finally asked out the hot snack cart girl I always flirt with and she said yeah. Great day.

Played last years club champ and local am champ this morning and semi's of match play. Birdie, birdie, Up 2 after 2 holes THEN hit a hosel OB on 3, double on 5 and a triple on 6 and the wheels were off. Settled down after that but ended up losing 3 and 2 shot 80. I can never get comfortable in the lead, I rather be tied or down a hole. Been getting texts since I left the course asking what happened....lol. Fabs kinda choked.

Tfw you develop a case of the shanks out of the blue. I could not hit anything under a driver today without hoseling the chit out of the ball; which was really odd since driver is usually my Achilles heel. I literally shanked 2 lob wedge shots 90 degrees to the right.

I had that bad earlier this year..for about 2 solid weeks. I learned a lot of things to try. Its part mental after doing it for so many reps. I found my swing had gotten too flat, i was rotating my wrists on my takeback that was creating a wide open clubface. To solve I worked on a take back down the line, make sure my wrists cocked the correct direction. My usual swing thought is left delt hits left jaw/chin on takeback. Gets me on plane and in correct position at top. Hope that helps a little bit, I know that feeling and its awful.

3 years ago, I worked on my putting to stop 2 and 3 putting. 2 years ago, I worked on my chipping and last year, I worked on my irons. Finally got my game down to around 85-89 consistently.
I keep my driver in the bag and only hit irons off the tee until I can stop slicing.-♥♥--♥♥--team misc big c support--♥♥--♥♥--

shot 76 yesterday (+4), felt good man, finished birdie-birdie, but anyway a gym-related golf story for you bros:
Darren Clarke sheds four stone (48lbs) in preparation for The Open Championship
-The 2011 Open champion has cut all sugar and now eats a high protein diet
-He has been working out at the gym five times each week
-The Northern Irishman does very little cardiovascular work, instead focusing on heavy weights and resistance
das it mane, das really it

Props to Rory for an impressive display. Glad Garcia didn't win; I'm sure he'll find some way to blame the tall grass for interfering with his shots or something.
On a more personal level, I can finally do a full 18 again without my shoulder lighting up. The only downside is I'm slicing pretty hard and my putting control has gone down in that time. That being said, I still managed to birdie a par 5 and pound a long series of pars before entering bogey town in the back 9 last week.

If you are playing public golf courses on a weekend and get a round in under 5 hours you are either very lucky, go buy a lottery ticket on your way home or the course is an absolute hole.
I'm headed back east this weekend, will play at least two rounds between thurs and sunday, over under is 4:45 on both. I'm betting the over.
