This isn't about cardio this is about lifting!
So I think it's time to work on my deadlift form. Considering going back to conventional straight leg since I know how easier to set that up. I can't see to get consistent form with wide-stance.

I'll write my own critques later but I'm about to head out. Here's two articles that I think are pretty helpful, but just keep in mind its written from a powerlifting perspective (although I don't think deadlifts are really any different for powerlifters vs bodybuilders)

Hey! Welcome back. I'm still doing good on ICF.
Anyway, yeah I'm reading the articles monkay posted and that's the first thing I noticed, my hips are not close to wide enough.
EDIT: I recall attempting this once and my freakin' heels still out from under me, I'll try it again before considering different footwear. lol
Still groking through the articles, but TYVM. The second article convinced me to stick to sumo.SF Bay Area Crew

i'll look into some light off-day stuff i can do.
i used to own a jump rope but i suck with it. i bought my girlfriend a bike last year for her birthday, this year i'll buy another one for her (if she wants to upgrade) or myself if she doesn't, and we'll go biking together.
not too much incline here; i live in kansasDomicron's Basement Gym and Fun House

What's everyones thoughts on the first rep? It looks like his hips shoot up quite a bit right at the start...
I had some hip discomfort a while back and I watched an older video of mine and that was the only thing that stuck out to me as being potentially 'wrong', and I thought that might have been the cause of my discomfort...

Nice set.
I'm not saying this to restart any arguments or restate my opinions; but I wouldn't 'try for 255 to put some people in their place'. The people that don't believe you'll reach your goals, mostly just believe you were understating your original lifts. So whether you hit your goal lifts or not won't actually have any effect on that, and it won't win anyone over. I'm all for progress and pushing yourself, but don't do it because your ego tells you to...do it if you really want to.

I didn't fraud any lifts. Everything you've seen up to this point is because I train hard and I have a lot of noob gains. Not to mention all the mobility work I've been doing.
Edit: I only went for 235 today because I knew I had it in me. If I feel I have 255 in me on the 5th, I'll try it. Who knows, I may even hit 260. You have to admit, it's getting harder and harder for anyone to refute my maxes. That was 100% effort for 3 reps. Anyone who watches the video with volume can see and hear that. The evidence is staring everyone in the face, they just have to open their eyes and look back.Last edited by l2ambo; 07-01-2014 at 10:07 PM.
