    please post 17-inch guns

    17 inch arms is a long-term goal my buddy and I have set. but what does a 17-inch arm look like? I've seen pics here for people who claim to have 17-inch guns, but they don't look much bigger than my 15.5's. Can someone post some real pics in this range?Thanks!

    If you can find my pics on here my arms are roughly 17". I've never made a big deal about arm size, I look for balance. But I guess it will give you an idea. If you want your arms to get that big you should want a big chest and back too. good luck.

    Beowulf, i found your pics. We're actually about the same size ... I'm 5'11" and 190 pounds, but i have much more body fat (or so it seems) around the midsection. It's not coming off easily.

    Looks like 17-inch arms are a good goal based on your physique. Thanks!

    Here's a pic of me in the mirror. It's not realy a great shot to show biceps, but they are in fact 17" (at least they were a few months ago, so they may be 17.00001" by now, LOL!) I'm 215 in this pic at about 6'0" by the way.

    Just measured two days ago

    These pics were from about two to three weeks ago.

    Also, it was with skinfold calipers...the actual reading was 7.1%.

    I felt it was low also...I think I'm closer to about 8.5 or 9%. But, that is what the trainer came up with.

    And, yes...it's me.

    calipers can be horribly inaccurate. not trying to be offensive, but you arn't 7%, i'd say 9-10.

    but other than that you look good!

    I NEED TO KNOW.....

    Its nice to see your pictures, but I have an important question...

    How much do you guys curl??? I want to get an idea of how much you guys curl in order to see what it takes to get those arms.

    So tell me, how much do you curl - at least six reps minimum - to get those arms????

    And please please please be honest. This is not high school where we go around lying about benching 400 pounds to impress people. I feel it would be nice to find out if some lift more, or less. Sometimes it doesn't take much to get big arms. Some people do negative reps and get big arms. Some people have better genes.

    But to hear you tell us how much you curl will give us some idea.

    You're really not getting it. You're not going to get huge arms out of no where. You need to increase your over all body mass. Your body automatically keeps symmetry, the reason your arms may not be growing could be due to your legs or other body parts being to small. You should gain an inch on your arms for every 10-12 pounds you gain. So EAT and train your entire body and your arms will grow.

    I curl 180 lbs for 3 reps , my form on the first rep is almost perfect but by the 3 rd one it`s a bit swinged ........

    Here`s me curling the 80 lber , not perfect form i know that .........

    Actually that was prolly the angle in which the pic was taken , the only thing that was messy was my curled wrist other than that was a pretty clean lift for 3 reps ..........
