    outside lower chest. exercises?

    for some reason i cannot seem to grow the outside of my lower chest. everywhere else is fine. image the typical U shaped chest. on the inside its half of the U and on the outside as soon as it starts to curve it cuts across and connects to the other side. anyway flies or other exercises that can help me develop that area?

    I WOULD suggest decline bench work, but am INCLINED to believe that it may be genetic in regards to origins and insertions.

    warning...this could be broscience, but I'm tempted to tell you decline flyes would help develop lower/outer chest region. in theory decline anything, but the flyes get that good stretch (although, don't stretch too much or you put your shoulders at risk)

    any bench press should, maybe not the incline. High pulley cable fly for shaping, but adding mass to the chest usually takes care of problem. Keep benching.

    You can't expect to have a huge chest at 140lbs. Best thing you can do for that area though is weighted dips imo
