I'm liking it so far man. I think i'll really appreciate it more when Winter hits. Winter in Oregon sucked so being out in AZ during those months is going to be nice.
I have to pick mine up at the Post Office after work. I'll use it for my bench session tonight.

Yeah I can't wait for the winter months to really appreciate the weather. My wife's friend says during the winter when it's sh!t in Oregon it's usually 75-85 degrees out here.

Sorry for the lack of updates. I plan on catching up my training log with the last two training sessions from this week. I've had to shift my training days around unfortunately but will be benching tomorrow morning then Deadlifting to wrap up week 5.

The first bench session wasn't the best. I had way too many distractions going on in the gym with my kids. This is sometimes the negatives of having a home gym vs being able to get away at a gym. This unfortunately took my mind set away from my training and missed 2 reps on my 2nd sling shot set.

I'm actually getting pretty nervous. It's in 4 days. Like ... holy sh!t. Doing a few last minute things (changing some cash, making sure work's travel insurance is OK, picking up a gift or two for the host(ess)), and getting nervous. Been a while since I've traveled alone.
I'm not too excited about crossing the border when I land in Toronto (my flight is from Montreal -> Toronto -> layover -> Nashville), especially after all the stories you hear. That's probably the most nerve-wracking part at the moment.Proud member of Team Ogre

It's been a while since I've hit 300 on the front squat for a while. Also it's been a while since I've pulled 500lbs on the trip (high handle) but glad both went up. I Wouldn't say it was easy but I felt strong during the movement.
