stock just slightly lowered on stock bolts (not sure if aware but you can adjust height by bolts on these cars)
two different animals honestly. The evo was fun as hell and hooked up well on the road despite the power but i did break a lot of **** on the car and at the end of the day its still an evo. The z06 is awesome all around and obviously a much nicer car, but not having traction in 2nd and sometimes 3rd is fun at first but gets old. Id love to get another evo ontop of having the z so i have the best of both worlds. A big pro to the evo is how easy it is to make power and how cheap parts are, the con is its still awd and things break (transfercase/trans) with power. Z06 parts are not cheap but the car is set up much better from factory as far as drivetrain strength goes.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WlclUwqDo3s

Thanks brah, yeah read about the ride height on stock bolts thing before.
COnsidering c6Z or GS for possible next car, kinda bored with the evo. haha.
Been browsing corvetteforums a lot recently, only thing I hate about that place is the constant bitching about c6 vs c7Blaugrana Crew

honestly besides the forced induction and c6z section i ****ing hate that forum. Its mostly old guys bantering about either politics, how this generation is better then that generation, how much people love there c4 and still think its the best or just complaining
if you plan on boost, gs all the way. if you want a stout 550-600whp car, z06 for sure. I dont think i could ever get bored of my evo and would most likely still have it if i didnt total ithttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WlclUwqDo3s

Didn't have time to elaborate on my car before and I was on my phone so it's a pain.
07 bought it from the original owner back in April of this year. He had only put 3800 miles on it. Thank you sir for keeping the car MINT for me.
I've done a few things to it so far. First was a MGW shifter, then I had the heads done at Vengeance Racing, I went with the WCCH stage II heads, Vengeance dual valve springs, Halltech superbee "ram air induction", and tune. The car picked up nearly 50 at the wheels, it would have made over 500 rwhp but it was over 100 in the dyno room and their fan broke so the IAT's were causing the car to pull a timing.
I've added a OEM ZR1 spoiler
Drilling those holes will make you sweat.
And addressed the main issues with the interior
Doors covered in leather and alcantara
Center console done in leather
Put my exhaust switch where the cig lighter was
Replaced my steering wheel with a 2012+ suede version and had the airbag covered in leather/alcantara
I've since finished off the interior with a few more bits shift knob/boot in alcantara, armrest and console in leather, and gauge pods in leather but don't have any pics yet.

During the baseline run it was about 75* in the dyno room. The after heads/intake/tune was over 100* and the IAT's were causing a lot of timing to be pulled. The tuner said that if it had been 90* instead of 100*+ in there that it would have made 500+. He seemed more disappointed than I did, I didn't care about the numbers that much.

IN. I flip cars on the side. I'm 25 and this is my 54th car..I think. Not new to the lsx crew. I have had 15 different ls1 cars. Just sold my 2011 Camaro SS made some cash and bought this.
08 Vette 6-speed. Put borla exhaust on it. Plan on doing longtubes, air intake, maybe a small cam..not sure if I wanna cam or just use my income taxes to put a blower on it.
This is my first vette..not sure how to lower on stock bolts but someone should aware me.

No pics with the spoiler yet other than the one I posted.
Even with the upgraded valve train which with the dual springs could handle a cam I was looking for reliability first and foremost. I didn't want to worry about the LS7 exhaust valve issues anymore, the extra power was just icing on the cake.
In addition to that the car is plenty fast as is and I wasn't looking to drop the extra money on the cam for another 50 hp, plus I drive the car almost everyday so I didn't want to give up any driveability. Vengeance said there wasn't much labor cost to be saved doing the cam with the heads (maybe $150 or so) and that they'd recommended doing long tube headers before the cam anyway.
So down the road I'll think about headers but until then I'm very happy with the performance. Hell, it has a hard time hooking even with new Michelins in 2nd as is.

Swap to the Corbeau A4's, I currently have them in my 01 Z06 track car. Very similar to the Evo seats just a little more snug (former evo 8 owner).
You can also make Evo 8/9 seats work with the stock rails, just have to modify the bottom mounts on the evo seat and make your own bracket. There's a write up on corvette forum http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c5-g...post1583082181

Thanks, the interior work makes the car feel so much nicer. The steering wheel was the biggest improvement, I hate the cross sectional profile of the original one, its oblong and too thin. That suede wheel was only a little over $200 shipped, I had the airbag done by Dallas custom steering wheel and it came out nice and wasn't too expensive.
I'm also a previous Evo owner, I've had both an 8 and 9. The seats in the Evos were so much better but I can see where the typical demographic for the Corvette wouldn't fit in a seat like that. I'm not going to hold my breath but maybe there will be a way to retrofit the C7 seats and keep the airbags functional.
I've had a cayman with standard seats and a 911 with sport seats, if the C7's seats are close to either one of those it'll be the best thing GM could have done. A harder stiffer seat foam is actually more comfortable for long trips and doesn't breakdown and wrinkle the leather or get all saggy.

So far they are saying the C7 seats won't be able to retain the airbags and pretensioners due to a new seat control module in the car but who knows. Maybe with some electrical work you can get everything to work. It'd also be nice to have the ventilated seat feature work.
I ended up having my seats covered in alcantara, you can kind of see them in my earlier post with pics. My interior is pretty much just like yours except I have a red console base and APSIS carbon center console. I love the new steering wheel as well, same exact one as yours. Think I paid $208 shipped from RichieRich at Abel Chevrolet on the forum.

50,000 mile a year! I don't know how anyone drives that much unless they are doing marketing or something and have to drive all over their region.
I do about 15-17K a year and I live 25+ miles away from my office. My wife does about 20K a year and we take her car everywhere since it's more comfortable with the car seat.
