    How do you take your pre workout supplement?

    I've noticed that if I eat something even 2 hours before taking my pre-workout supplement it won't have as much effect as if I take it first thing in the morning without having had anything to eat. But i just don't like going to the gym with an empty stomach. Any serious suggestions? How do you take yours? How is it most effective?

    I workout generally between 5pm and 7pm directly after I get home from work, I eat lunch around noon sometimes this is a gainer shake if I didn't have time to pack a lunch, and then I will have small snack a hour or two later, I drink my pre workout about 30-45 minutes before I get home that way I can hit it as soon as I get there.

    Try eating just a medium apple, wait 30 minutes and drink ur PWO. It's perfectly fine to go to gym fasted, but if it's preference then try that.

    I always take mine on a completely empty stomach. I workout in the morning and train fasted.
    If you feel like you need something try a protein shake preworkout. Give it some time to digest then take your preworkout.

    I take it as soon as I wake up hits me right away, if workout in the afternoon or evening I make sure I take 2 to 3 hours after my meal.

    I feel the same way. If I don't train first thing in the morning fasted. I like to go 4 hours after my meal or so before the gym. I like to drink it a half an hour or so before the gym. I live 5 minutes away. I have a shoulder issue and unfortunately now I have to do more stretching before shoulders and the same before chest.

    A small meal 60-90 minutes before my workout, and i take my preworkout 15-20 minutes before the gym

    On mornings that I workout at 530am, I take my preworkout on an empty stomach but usually use a smaller dose since it hits harder

    Take Upon waking and train with BCAA = most effective way to feel the stim
    or eat a meal at least 2-3 hours before then use the pre workout shortly before
    the further away from food = greater stim.

    Find something that you can eat between taking it and leaving for the gym that won't bother your stomach?
