For you guys that run, what socks do you wear? I need something more breathable than regular cotton socks.

Judging by his height and weight I assume he isn't old enough to start reading yet. Maybe a couple more years when he's in kindergarten. And a side note, my last dog that we recently had to put down was a border collie mix. GREAT DOG!

Clean ones, srs (actually not always clean lol)

But I haven't had a problem with socks thus far that I've noticed, thick or thin. But I'm only logging about ~10 miles per week. So i could def see how that would become crucial at heavier mileages

I've tried a ton of socks over my years of running and have never found something more comfortable than cotton gym socks. The wicking socks just aren't comfortable IMO, and I tend to get blisters if I run sockless. I tend to find that as long as my shoes are fairly breathable, the sock that I wear doesn't matter as much even in warm, humid weather.

    - Your mindset influences your outcome. It's time to take out phrases like "I can't" or "I don't have time" and replace them with phrases like "I will make the time" and "I will keep working at it until I find a way that works." Success starts with the right mindset and believing in yourself and your dreams.

Heat/ice can help with pain. Stretching won't really help. Just light exercise until it recovers.

What have people got against admitting they aren't natural?

I mean, they ain't going to get banned unless they are openly discussing steroid cycles and stupid crap like that...

Particularly where powerlifters are concerned, everyone competing at an elite level (even in the drug tested feds, there are numerous things they don't test for) is using. Why? Because everybody else is, and unless you are Mark Henry, the only way to set records and win trophies is to bite the bullet and enhance yourself.

That brings us back to my opening statement. You aren't cheating if everybody else is as well.

One of the few lifting channels i can actually listen to in the background. He's done a review of almost every routine you can think about. He does it from a powerlifting bias, but it gives a good idea as to how one could assess a routine. I know one or two people here are doing blaha's routine so thought i'd post this one.

Stop calling it Blaha's routine. He stole the ideas from someone else. He did not create this stuff.

Smart Wool socks work great for me, they wick, don't give me blisters and importantly don't' stink after an hour run.

Diagnose me then, I eat hardly anything and can't lose fat. I've probably got some big tumor or something, or I'm full of chit.

Today for example, all I have ate is 4 or 5 cups of coffee (500 cals max, two of them were small and large ones are only about 105 cals) and a 200g "pea drink" (200g of frozen peas blended in boiling water) so thats the princely sum of 188 calories in that pea drink.

So how come then if I have only consumed about 700 calories... and will consume maybe that again, thats 1400 cals a day, why aren't I losing any fat?

inb4 "Just go to a doctor"

I know I am too fat because I am getting away with eating "hardly anything".

I have stuff like a 125 calorie tin of veg soup as a full meal... when others are eating a 600 calorie meal.
