Does anybody believe in mental block's when it comes to lifting? It was chest day today, Feeling juicy, with a buddy of mine, I said fuk it, I was going for a new 1RM PR, I hit 300 even for 1, it felt pretty damn easy, decided to put on 3 plates, that extra 15lbs completely obliterated my body, I brought it down, and I think I psyched my self out completely because visibly 3 plates is a lot more intimidating then the mixture of plates I had on, I brought the barbell down, touched, went to go thow the weight up and there was no way in hell, felt like a truck had just planted it self on my chest.. -.-"

I've never used a tablet so I'm not really sure what they're like. I like my laptop, and if I'm out I have a smartphone and am able to do my emails, etc. right from there.
    - Your mindset influences your outcome. It's time to take out phrases like "I can't" or "I don't have time" and replace them with phrases like "I will make the time" and "I will keep working at it until I find a way that works." Success starts with the right mindset and believing in yourself and your dreams.

Hope so, I recall in your log that you were doing a ridiculous amount of running on top of a very physically active lifestyle. Are you still planning to do another log?

Welcome to the world of experienced lifters! I've seen friends, so desperate for progress, that they'll break plateaus by adding on 0.25lbs washers on each side of the bar!

Tablet may be cheaper, idk. If you need a laptop just for docs, then specs arent really important, just shop for the cheapest at walmart or amazon

Tablet or Ipad, if its just documents its not a real big sweat. Sometimes you can catch some good deals on groupon or stuff like that. So keep your eye open or a flash sale.

Hey a 14 year old kid recently started a log in nut. He's doing ok so far, but I'm not really the person who should be advising him. So I was hoping to rope in one of you more experienced persons to chime in. Thanks.

Yeah, I'm gonna start my log up again in a bit, rate now I'm eating at a small deficit to try and trim some fat from my break (Just to be beach ready really) and yeah, 2.5lbs plates just to break a plateau, nothing pisses me off more then not being able to lift more then I did last time!

I'm debating on one or a tablet...I just need something I can edit documents on the fly, use at coffee shops and stuff
Just use your smart phone. Back up all documents on google docs, download google aps, then you have spreadsheets/word documents (the only things Iv'e used so far) on the run.
As for tablets, kindle hdx is a high rated one for students.

    School ends June 5th,
Taking a small vacation to Columbus that weekend, need to get away from home and reality for a bit and take some time off working every single day.

    Then brothers wedding in July.
Gonna be a busy summer on top of that and lots of interviews for teaching jobs.
    Hows everyones weekend?

    She's actually getting old.
    She turns 13 this year.
I like to think due to me exercising her everyday, she is keeping young.

Sorry for mentioning it. She seems very young and lively for her age.

    Awe, it's all good.
She used to be the most un-energetic dog, lazy as.. then I got her thyroid tested and she had an under active thyroid.
So now she's on medication and loving life!
