Speaking of Brands and their value, I picked this up over the weekend.
More like what I was looking for....
Rogue Monster lite flat foot rack RML-390F
Rogue adjustable 2.0 bench
Ohio power bar bare steel with OSO collars
10 45lb HG 2.0 bumpers
2 25lb HG 2.0 bumpers
4 10lb HG 2.0 bumpers
set of micros and pair of 2.5's and 5lb plates
You say Rogue holds it value?
What would be a fair used price assuming all in good shape?
What would be your "great deal" price?
I will spill the beans on what I paid after I get a few opinions.... I'm happy with the price either way as I think it was fair. Oh did I mention I drove 16 hrs round trip to get everything?

If youre going to share the price, then why does it matter if you get peoples' opinions now? If youre going to use the equipment and can afford it, then its already a good deal.
Yes, its incrediblt satisfying to find a steal of a deal, but if you got a good deal, then good work; dont be so worried what a bunch of people you dont know on the internet think.

Starting my home gym from scratch, what do you think of these Ivanko plates? How old you think they are? Seems like a pretty decent deal with the Rogue tree included. I will obviously need a lot more plates than this, but these probably integrate pretty well into most high end plates I'd pick up new.

To each his own, I suppose, but I wouldn't drive 16 hrs for any lot of Rogue gear unless it was a huge truckload for free.
Fwiw, around here Rogue gear tends to sell for 75-80% of retail. So, if you fall into that range, you got an average deal. If you paid less, you got a respectable deal. If you paid more, well...you should've just bought new.
Also, for any ATL folks who may be interested: the PIAS at the N. DeKalb Mall has some older York iron plates. I saw three 45's and a couple 35's. Might be more, but I wasn't interested so I didn't dig any deeper than that."What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us." - Ralph Waldo Emerson

Not at bad price at $399, They are very nice plates to come buy, especially finding a full set is nice.
If you're looking for a rack consider this parabody.

I'd never drive that far unless it's a few trailer loads of gym equipment for a very good price. Farthest I've driven was 3.5 hours each way. In Michigan Rogue stuff Is usually around 90% retail for most stuff, depending on condition and what the item is. Most other areas Stasher1 is right on the dot at around 75-80% retail.

Cybex Adjustable Flat to Incline Bench - $250 (SDSU)
A flipper spotted the value.
That older Cybex back pad looks to be rounded so the edges/seams don't dig in when benching or doing dumbbell flys. Newer ones have the sharper edge/seam. Promaxima might be the only other bench I've seen that thinks about that, but I've not tried one to know if it makes a difference.

Here it is...
Left at 4AM and was home by 8PM. Long Sunday drive but all in one day where I would have probably just sat around anyway so I consider my time free at that point. My price was $1600. I haven't had time to actually sit down and price EVERYTHING new and see what I saved but Im guessing it must be $1000!

Nice plates and collars, but its a bit high for my liking. Do you already have a bar? (Not the same quality, but you can get 300# Troy Premium with a (junk) bar for $469 shipped to your house)
Here's a nice rack with storage if you're in need.

Nice pick up! I would have made the drive for that. The used market here is pretty slim.
I gave up on Kijiji and am currently pricing out a Northern Lights Crossbox from Fitness Depot. Oddly enough, the rack config I was going for is almost exactly like the Rogue rack you have.▇ ▅ █ ▅ ▇ ▂ ▃ ▁ ▁ ▅ ▃ ▅ ▅ ▅ ▇

My advice would be to get the 30" deep version. 24" is too narrow. I got the 43" deep version and I am regretting it. It's a pain to change the safeties. They will try to sell you 4 side crossmembers but if you bolt it to the floor, you only need 2 for the top.
Also, you can haggle with the reps at Fitness Depot.

I dont see these pop up too often. Not sure what the going rate is but it seems reasonable.

You need a good rack, a bench, and a 300-lb Olympic weight set. Now, what was your question?

I just love it when someone responds to one of my craigslist ads and then tells me how equipment buying an selling on craigsist is done. Wannabe flippers. . . . .

Atty...it depends on what kind of ad you posted. If you're selling stuff thats one thing...if you're posting wanted ads for specific items...its a waste o time. Ive tried this in different markets and those who respond know the value and want retail. I guess if you're willing to spend top dollar and not want something for nothing then yes...these type of posts may work.
Its a jungle out there brother...be cautious. There are some unstable people on craigslist for sure.

Oh...ive been hit up with a lot of different things I wanted over the years in wanted ads I posted. Not once did someone throw out a reasonable price. Like I said if you're willing to shell out $$ you can find anything you want on craigslist.
It just seemed like Atty was having a tough go and needed a shoulder to cry on. I was just providing him with my experiences.
