If you don't have cash in hand and the ability to hop in your vehicle and pick it up RFN, you're probably not going to get the really good deals.

If those are really the calibrated ivanko bumpers, they go for about $250 new (each). If it were closer to me and the ivanko's and chan bar were in good shape, I would negotiate with him and flip the rest of it.

I could use the weights, bench, and bar. Seems like a decent price overall assuming the bench is a decent brand/model? I can't make it out in that picture.

The Keys stuff I've dealt with was comparable to Body Solid stuff in overall build quality, IMO. With that said, that's a $75-$80 bench (maybe) in my local market. Definitely nowhere near his asking price.

BTW, the u-shaped front foot is installed backwards.

lol yeah you're right. Could that possibly have caused damage to the bench? Getting the bench for $75 would be amazing. Really getting any decent bench for under $100 would elate me.

Reversing the foot is pretty common since the stupid things stick out far enough to be a tripping hazard. Personally, I'd just replace it with a straight piece of 2x2 square tubing or chop the stock one down to just the straight section in the middle.

Unless your routine flat-out requires the use of a FID bench right now, I'd opt for a quality flat bench of the correct height, and just keep an eye out for a good deal on a used commercial FI or FID bench.

I'm a short-legged little bastard, so I'd opt for something between 16.5" and 17.5", but you need to figure out what works best for you.

i could be wrong, but when i see the circular tubing on exercise equipment it always looks very chincy. personally, i would not buy it.

Funny, isn't it? Oval tubing can look pretty good sometimes, but round tubing always looks cheap, dated, or both.

The stock pic was probably correct (didn't look), but the pic in the CL listing had the "toes" of the foot pointed towards the head. Moot point now, as the listing has apparently been deleted.

Not about a posting per se, but does anyone else get annoyed by the sheer number of delusional sellers on CL?

I've been back and forth with someone who will not budge on his 'fair price' because he paid $1000+ for something from a dealer and doesn't understand a CL fair price is half that. I'm trying to explain that I could have something delivered refurbished with new padding for $200 less than he's asking but he just doesn't get it.

I guess ppl can be stubborn when they don't understand how things work but meh.

The worst is when they actually get offended that you're not offering them full dealer price for something, crazy.
