I don't like the newer powerblock benches, not stable enough, the older welded one was alot better, which is why I hate the newer precor super bench vs the older Icarian super bench. That bench in the ad looks exactly like the build of an older tuff stuff adjustable bench.

I would say so, there's either two things that come to mind either a very old version or tag came off and was replaced with that "hammer" tag. I can assume that it's a hammer strength by that red "Stay Clear" warning. Just the "build" bothers me.
Isn't the hammer strengths leg press based off of the nautilus one? Maybe it's a nautilus?

What is the going rate for used standard plates? I need some for my lat machine and found this on CL. I don't need all of that weight but he would let it go for $125, so I was wondering if I could flip it for a little profit.
2-50lb
4-25lb
16-10lb
24-5lb
10-2.5lb plates in good condition..
About 505 lb all together. Plus 3 bars 15 lb each. And Dbells 2.5 lb each.My one year weight loss thread with pics- http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=161271323

Like those. I've been considering the ones below for my reverse hyper, mainly because they appear to be metal and have a flange on them already. I believe the Bodysolid ones are nylon or similar material. Either of them probably work well enough on something like a lat machine.

i never thought i'd end up with a commercial bench in my basement and now i have 2. you have to keep looking, know what you're looking for, and be ready to jump on a deal when it appears.
FWIW it'd be nice sometimes to have a flat one as well as an adjustable so that you can work in 2 stations, or so you don't have to move around the heavier bench all the timeDomicron's Basement Gym and Fun House

I have two commercial 0-90 benches, and one home FID, but no flat bench yet...

So this Tuff Stuff FID bench popped up on Kijiji today. Decided to jump on it and picked it up for $70 USD.

While I have 6 commercial adjustable benches....in counting....I do understand it would be nice to have a flat as well.
Here are the key point I see for a flat bench
1.) Light Weight, easy mobility
2.) Sturdy/solid, dont have to worry of any wobble in the top padding
3.) Pads are usually larger
4.) Height can be "alot" lower vs an adjustable
