Going to look at some dumbbells tomorrow, looks like Round polyurethane Troy dumbbells with a magnum rack, 30-75 in 5 pound increments for 850.
They look dusty but otherwise in good shape. Is this a good deal or am I wrong about pricing?
I can't post pictures yet.

I don't really need them at the moment but if it's a good enough deal that I can flip them easily if I decide not to keep them I will pick them up. Thoughts? Thanks for the response!

Went to look at the Troy dumbbells today. I didn't end up buying them because some of them were slightly bent. If anyone is within driving distance to Harrisonburg, VA they are in alright shape apart from a slight bend. Wasn't worth it to me.
Troy polyurethane 35-75 would be good for a home gym but not for the gym i'm opening.

what do you guys think about this for flooring?
h t t p s://appleton.craigslist.org/mat/6038342452.html
If i cover my basement gym room on top of the concrete with this and then thrown down a few horse stall mats where i deadlift and row. Think there would be any advantage other than just covering the ugly concrete? Or would this not hold up?

Okay, so fond another "deal" more like what I was looking for.
Rogue Monster lite flat foot rack
Rogue adjustable 2.0 bench
Ohio power bare bare steel
10 45lb HG 2.0 bumpers
2 25lb HG 2.0 bumpers
4 10lb HG 2.0 bumpers
set of micros and pair of 2.5's and 5lb plates
Does Rogue stuff hold its value? Looks like new could have this for $2600ish.
What would be a fair used price assuming all in good shape?
What would be your "great deal" price?

Theres your jumping point...is this used rack worth $2150? I would say no considering its $2600 new. Seems overpriced to me.Last edited by BulkMore; 03-13-2017 at 10:48 AM.

Thats for you to decide. Depends on how bad you need to sell it., how attached you are to it, how your market is, etc etc. I dont feel comfortable giving out what I would pay for said item...kind of like when people purchase equipment then refuse to tell how much they paid
Put it like this...if someone puts money in your hand and it adds up to something with a 2 in front of it...that person took a screwin.Last edited by BulkMore; 03-13-2017 at 11:31 AM.

Agreed. I have bought and sold tons of stuff to pay for my gym and upgrades. This is not my first rodeo. Unfortunately since I have found 0 listings for a used rack that would be comparable I have had a hard time figuring out what a decent value would be.
I know most equipment runs 50% of retail value, but items with known names such as Rogue and Legend etc. seem to hold more value (60-70%?)
Don't have to sell. Just looking at some other options for our new house and honestly if I could not move this item twice that would be nice.
Thanks for your input.[II]---[II] Equipment Crew #49 [II]---[II]

Medx Avenger leg press
Hello Fellas, In your opinion is the medx leg press all that awesome? There's one listed locally (L.A.) and looks pretty clean and very expensive. What would be a fair price to offer for one?
thanks in advance, BMbmorales242

That leg press is 17 years old, but it looks like it has hardly been used. Those are no longer being produced. Maybe 100 or so were ever made. Sellers know that and are asking full original price for the machines that are in excellent condition. He will probably get his asking price if he is willing to wait for a buyer.
It really just depends on how desperate the seller is for money (not likely) or if they need to sell fast for a reason. The listing says "Or Best Reasonable Offer". From my experience, about $4000 would be an appropriate offer. $3500 would be lowball. I would be surprised if he takes less than $5000.Last edited by deadwoodgregg; 03-13-2017 at 12:43 PM.
