You could always wait a while and see what happens, I would have priced them in the $500-$550 range if it were in my area. Even at that price I might have to sit on them for a while, but they would eventually sell. Don't let that influence you though, I have been surprised before

Dom, You should put "crossfit" somewhere in the title or description.

As a comparison, I sold my Legend 3130 with nicer pads for $400 and it was for sale a long time. Your GHD's are a better GHD and you're in a much bigger market so they should sell.I agree with Urban on the price range but you can wait and see what offers you get and can always lower the price.
Now OK for Sig line to be a novel

The main difficulty that I see is that it's a highly specialized piece, with a unique color scheme that is not mainstream (black/gray), and a brand than most won't be able to fully appreciate. That's the difficulty with most high quality equipment though, so I typically price at fair market and intentionally draw comparisons to other brands for those unaware (like $550 firm, then highlight that the Rogue is $250 more shipped).

Totally agree. I never say I have more than one of anything I sell on craigslist people will try and use that to bring down the price and if you get multiple offers you will have more than one to sell and they'll never know. Also makes buyers more willing to buy something if they think it's rare. That's my pro tip for today. More to come lol.

Is this hammer strength or cybex? I'm almost positive it's a hammer strength, but all the snap fitnesses I've been to in my area have cybex, excluding weights/ dumbbells/ bars/ cardio.

Guessing hammer strength. Looks a little different then there current half rack but might just be a earlier revision. Good price for a commercial rack if you have the height in your gym.

good news: i sold my bumper plates, just under asking price
better news: the guy wants to come back in the next day or two and buy one of the GHD's

guys, whats wrong with getting something like this? one of the biggest issues i see with a home gym is the inability to do crossovers but this seems to solve that, and with a squat rack in addition to this, what can't you do?
posting in this thread, because theres one posted in my local craigslist for 650

it's a smith machine, so you can't squat or bench.
i guess there are some "safety arms" for the front you can squat or bench off of, but i wouldn't trust them.
it's a compromise between many different things, and the biggest trade off with Marcy products is quality.
for the right price, i guess you could try it out, but i sure wouldn't pay 650 for that thing.Domicron's Basement Gym and Fun House

You can squat and breach with free weights as there are bar pegs that are located on the front of the machine, I personally only would get a cable crossover if there are two different weight stacks, not one. 650 is alot, ive seen them in my area for around 300-400.
650 would only be worth it if it was the marcy diamond elite, blue color, with weights and a bar. The blue marcy diamond elite is nice as it has linear bearings, for the smith bar.

beacuse it's a POS poorly built contraption that won't help you get any stronger. You need a rack, 300lb Olympic weight set and adjustable fix bench. You're talking about crossovers like its a primary exercise, it really appears that your majoring in the minors. If you're just starting, start with what I just listed. You can add machines later if your commitment and budget allows.

05-14-2016, 05:55 PM #5479guys, whats wrong with getting something like this?
Bar, rack, bench, weights... that's all you need for YEARS of lifting. When you get to the point that you NEED to focus and isolate, adjustable dumbbells will do the trick.
Virtually EVERYTHING you need for years of lifting is right here for $900 shipped:
http://www.repfitness.com/equipment-...x5-starter-gym
...other manufacturers have similar packages, REP's link is just easy to find. Buy a cheap weight rack off Amazon. When you need more weight, buy cheap iron off Craigslist.
The "rack, bar, weights, bench" philosophy will carry thru your beginner stage and into intermediate with nothing added except more weights.
Just buy a package, set it up, pick a plan and start lifting.

Crossfitter's Dream!
Snagged a nice Model D with a PM3 yesterday. I am upgrading from a Model C that I have been relegated to using now that my wife has caught the rowing bug......

Anybody have this rack or seen it in person? I was just wondering if I can have 45lb plates on the top and bottom(which there are 45lbs on the bottom already), and have 10lbs or 25lbs in the middle? Or maybe if anyone else knows about it, I think it's called a "PlateTrolley" but hard to find info. Thanks
