Seems really pricey with all the weights being standard. York or not those don't demand a premium.

No that's not it. The DL stand is all one welded piece. The separate stand you can see has bolt down tabs on all 4 feet. It may be intended to be used with the platform somehow but I can't imagine how.

its a stand along bar holder, there is a guy selling similar one locally... imho a complete waste of space

Imo, if you're looking to spend 1k for an obs-20kg just purchase it new. Those copper collars are going back into reproduction some time in the near future and the chrome ones are ~100

I saw this ad the same day i picked up my new revolvers. I think the original price was $350. The seller updated it later . I am surprised there are still there.

Even at $450 , this is an excellent deal especially that they look little old. I bet the plates are smooth and flawless

I like them. The edges look flat as opposed to how they are now. Anyone know if they changed how they cast revolvers?

frankly i think ivankos age really well. it's different from the old york plates with the nice patina...even on my O plates where the paint is worn on parts it still looks good.

I indeed did. Also, just to clarify the 350 thing... It was listed as having 350 pounds and was later corrected after I questioned what was not listed for sizes. Not sure if the price was different several days ago but is a 255 pound set. Was able to negotiate a little but not too much. Thanks to all that nudged me into buying these. As I unloaded the revolvers from my truck, my chest grew an inch and I doubled my limit on todays workout.

As per 350 thing, you could be right . I just don't remember exactly but all remember there was a #350 in the ad. All I was thinking looking at this ad was that I just got brand new ones and these show up the very same day. Such is life.

Anyway, I am glad you got it. Now there is no going back. It is highly unlikely that you will ever want to lift the regular plates ever again. Enjoy the gear.
