    L-Carnatine

Does this stuff really burn fat, build lean muscle and enhance energy?

This might be the most possible of the three but l-carnitine itself isn't as great as it's touted to be. I'd look into alternate forms of l-carnitine for supplementation, such as aceytl-l-carnitine for cognitive benefits and l-carnitine-l-tartrate for muscle recovery.

    No.

It's 95% diet based. The rest is almost exclusively your work outs. Maybe 1% to supplements.
Supplement a good diet: don't diet on supplements.

This guy knows his stuff! The poster above me said it best, supplements will provide a millimeter of improvement whereas diet and training are inches.
