Actually, caffeine does affect creatine negatively. One saturates the muscles with water while other is a diuretic. Small doses of caffeine maybe won't interact with creatine much but anything over 200 mg or usual pre-workout supplement before workout will definitely interfere full benefits of creatine. Does it mean you should stop drinking coffee in order for creatine to take full affect? No but don't take it before a workout because you will piss a lot. Of course this problem can be fixed drinking huge amounts of water but keep in mind, you will piss every 20 minutes. If you can handle that, go for it

Excellent Information. Especially for those just starting to build their supplement regime.
For Protein needs, especially for those that are lactose intolerant, they can also try the newer Beef based protein drinks like MusclePham Arnold Iron Mass and MuscleMeds Carnivor. Both great protein supplements I have tried and really like, Especially Arnold Iron Mass, I'm loving that stuff right now.

Low doses of creatine mixed with low doses of caffeine, won't react in any manner negatively. Now, consuming high doses of both as been shown to produce secondary metabolites which are found to be toxic. Creatine and products that contain caffeine should be handled carefully when used together. Remember, creatine metabolism occurs at the kidneys, we only have two, treat them carefully.
