I feel like I'm recovering from being sick finally. Work capacity it still diminished. I get tired quickly. I started coughing and my chest burned when I got to step ups and abs. Likely because I was super setting those and moving through them quickly.
Squats were a mix of OK and not so good. Some reps were on my toes, some were solid.

Still not feeling like a badass but I'm trying to hang in there. I did not cough through this session so that's a win. Chest burns a bit but I can deal with that.
Original write up of this session did not include deadlifts. I asked wade to either add deads in or more squats. It's time for me to start stepping it up.

First day back to lifting after the stomach flu. I would not wish that on anyone! I spent two days in bed because I was so tired and everything hurt. I finally got up Saturday but mostly spent it watching TV because I didn't have any experience energy.
Did not do accessory because I just was not up for it. I'm not 100% and already worn down just from main lifts. Bench sucked pretty bad. I can tell I've lost strength badly there. Slingshot and CG was OK. DB press always sucks but I make sure I do it even if I don't have time (or energy like today) for other accessory work.POWERLIFTING TRAINING JOURNAL

Front squats were not terrible but not really easy either.
I expected trap to be light but they didn't feel that way. Not sure why I thought that since nothing has felt easy in quite some time.
The same spot over my ribs hurts like hell. I was hoping it would heal with all this half-assed lifting giving it a break but it obviously hasn't healed.

Thanks! That stomach flu was brutal especially right after bronchitis!
The dogs get so excited to go with me in the morning.....then they sleep the entire time!
I can't believe you described my dealift as pretty. I usually feel like I'm doing them all wrong
We have not started the house yet. We originally said we would start it after a year. Now that it's been almost a year and we decided our living situation isn't as bad as we expected we talked about waiting longer. My husband and I talked more about it this weekend. Based on our current plan we could probably pay off everything by the end of next year and have enough saved for the over and above costs we expect will come up. I know there will be things we will want to change/upgrade during the build and that will cost money out of our pockets. I know my taste Essentially the better spot we are in financially when we start to build the more likely it is I'll get exactly what I want without having to sacrifice a lot. The builder says if all goes exactly as planned and the weather cooperates it will take 10 months to build. That's not going to happen so I'm sure it will be a year. That means an additional year beyond when we start. That kind of sucks but hopefully watching the house go up will make time fly.

I slept in a little which didn't allow time for accessory. My lower back is pretty messed up. It hurts to walk and I can't find a good position to sleep so I moved around all night. I ended up moving my alarm forward an hour.
