Sorry for derailing the thread but need serious responses from non FA brahs.

Used to be majorly awkward growing up. Over the past two years, I've gained muscle, leaned out, and greatly improved overall social acuity. I've gotten some results with girls, have a strong circle of friends and generally have a pretty good life (grades, accommodation et cetera).

I'm still very much in the learning process with girls and in general but these are some of my findings:

1) Cold approach is good for building confidence, but as an actual method of meeting quality women, it seems rather ineffective.
2) Going clubbing is fun in moderation, but once again is not a good medium to find wifey types.
3) The current uni course I'm in has literally (and I mean literally) zero attractive girls, due in no small part to the fact that the majority of students are from the PRC (crass, poorly dressed, socially retarded etc) but that's for another topic.

So that leaves me with not many options. More precisely, they are:
1) Serendipity. Hoping I'll be able to run into a pretty, cool, level-headed girl in a suitable environment in a natural way (idle chit chat, which leads to a spark)

or

2) Putting my pride aside and actually asking close friends to hook me up with someone they deem to be compatible with me. I swear, I'm not trying to subtly brag or anything but I don't think they look at me as someone who struggles or who is keen on settling down with a good girl. In part because of a slight facade I put on and also because I very rarely bring this topic up. Admittedly, over the past few months, it's become an increasing presence in my mind but not once have I talked about it with anyone.

What does the misc suggest? Apologies for the massive TLDR but I will provide reps and assistance in any way I can to show gratitude.

For a sec I thought I was reading my own post. I'm pretty much the same as you. But one great way to meet quailty women is to do what you love. Hobby, career, lifting. Etc. Eventually you'll meet a girl that will be pretty awesome because of your shared interest. Know a few people that this happened to.

One thing I was thinking about is how you'll never really meet your potential "best match". I mean think about it. Most people live in the same city their whole life, probably two at most, and how many people do they even talk to? Probably stay within their social/work circle for the most part. Then within that, how many are girls they could potentially date, and how many of those do they end up dating? There could be someone out there who was your "perfect match" but maybe they were born a year too early or late and you won't meet at school, maybe they were born in India and you'll never meet, or maybe they were born in Ancient Rome and it's too late.

Maybe, maybe that's by design, what if the path you're supposed to walk down to meet your partner, is exactly the one people normally follow. Maybe that person is in your wheelhouse for a reason? Who knows.

I dont know. I'm 25. If I think back I feel like I have lived for a long time. If I live a healthy life and nothing goes wrong I have at the very least twice that amount left. I might or I might not. I know this feel, but also realize I'm still really young. I think if I still haven't found the one by 35 I might start to worry a lot more.
