hey guys, so basically i started lifting 6 months ago, rate my progress, and what you recommend me to do next step, keep bulking or cut for few months then a massive bulk, keep in mind i'm a beginner, and used to be waaay over weight, the starting photos after i lost 40+ pounds with only bad eating and cardio ( no lifting ).
    thanks in advance

i'm just worried that i gain too much fat if keep bulking more, then i'll have some hard time shedding it later, i personally don't care if i look fat this summer or even the next, been fat all of my life, if i wanna shed fat i'll make sure it's worth it, to some mass.

just want some thoughts on the progress, can you guys see some progress, i think it may be hard since i had fat from the start so there would not be any muscle definition at all although i gained some, strength has gone up as well.

long story short, would like to know if it's worth it to keep bulking since i'm a beginner and my body may get a better shape with bulking, like in the hips, since i always had big hips and wider than upper body, bulking would make look small when upper body builds up.

well thank you for your reply

if you're worried about gaining more bf, maybe do like 3 weeks at a deficit or at least maintenance, just to tighten things up a little, then return to your surplus.

I stopped counting macros like 2 months ago, but you could say i am eating quite alot, 1.5-2 pounds of chicken breasts, eggs along with shakes thats for protien, fats around 60grs a day, carbs around 350-400.
Pretty much a dirty bulk, i gain weight very very easly .
On rest days i lower my carbs a little bit, proteins pretty much the same.

Never stop, to be honest. You often see people stop tracking their food and later find out they arent eating as much as they think they are.
I'd say bulk, if you cut you will end up fairly skinny (no offence), and you arent like "fat", so IMO a good base to add some more mass.
I didn't say it would be easy, I said it would be worth it.

If your lifts are still increasing and your happy with the way things are going I'd say stick to the bulk. If you're getting a bit paranoid that you're gaining fat I'd take AutumnHB's advice and have a little cut.

dont do this, it leads to yo-yo'ing too much and is a huge waste of time.

Either bulk or cut. Dont be scared. I'd still bulk if i was you.

The trial and error process of learning how to bulk properly can freaking suck. Those of us who dont have god like metabolisms can get fat as a mofo during our first bulk. Just keep bulking man if anything slightly cut back on calories. I'm pretty sure you look good in the clothes you wear now, so if you dont look "Topless beach ready" this year dont sweat, you'll be ready next summer or even as early as fall. Aside from that, it looks like your chest, arms and legs grew well.

those are some nice words you wrote there brother, thanks for the advice. it's just in my head ( fear of fat, and always thinking i am fat ) that's because i was 110Kg, got down to 70kg by just eating less and cardio ended up like the first picutre, now i am at 79 KG.

I'd continue eating clean slightly above maintenance calories. Make sure you put 110% into your workouts and lift some heavy ass weight. Never let your ego get in the way by sacrificing proper form. You're not fat, nor skinny. You have enough size behind you to push some heavy weight on your compound lifts. If you don't go overboard on calories, you'll gain little to no fat. The key is diet and intensity. Good luck my friend!

Thx for replying bro, as for lifting, i'm not a fan of ego or getting attention, all i care about is doing good form while lifting as much as i could and maintain a proper form, even thought it's low weight. but actually for my start, injures in the past, i'm lifting very heavy, i made some great progress, and still going.
i got very sick the past 3 weeks and i struggled a little bit in my workouts like a day stronger and a day after i am weaker.

as for food, i am eating only clean, i have a cheat day every 2 weeks, but i keep it simple.

not tracking any macros because i already have an idea what contains the food i eat, eating alot, gaining weight fast.

my body gains weight really fast.

another option why i thought i should cut, is not to get bored and always stay motivated when i look in the mirror and i see i'm a little lean.
although i don't have a problem with fat, all my life been a fat fu#k, now i can be fat, but buff .

    thx dude
