I'm just wondering what the summer means to you, biker.
Also what is your goal or fun while you are doing this heavy low reps?
Sometimes higher reps with lighter weight help you break a plateau, especially for upper body.

Hiya S,
Summer days are much like any other day of the year for me. Iβm fortunate that the 100+ degree temps donβt affect me much. I try to log at least 250 miles each Saturday if time permits and a 1000+ mile jaunt once or twice a year. Nice way to decompress.
As far as the low reps, I found that they just work for me. I can sprinkle in higher reps from time to time but they seem to irritate my joints more than singles or triples. These days itβs all about pain management for me.Cardio probably won't kill you...but why take the chance?
