Alright, my main league is complete. 12 guys all from bb.com with 10 all from the same chat thread. Third consecutive season for this league.
I got the 3rd overall draft pick (snake). The way things look now that means a choice between Peterson and Forte, probably?

The way things sit now, yes, I would probably take Charles or McCoy if they were there.
I seriously considered taking Calvin at #2 last year, and I did take him at #6, why not #3?
I wish I took him #2 last year instead of Martin. That lower injury risk/more stability (WR vs RB) is the main reason I considered him last year...turns out it would have paid off.
This league only requires 1 RB, but with flex you can start 2 or 3. (I set it up that way). Standard scoring basically.
QB
RB
WR
WR
TE
W/R/T
W/R/T
K
DEF

Yeah, I'm going to have to think about this and mock this, but there are certainly options with only 1 RB required but up to 3 allowed. Which is why I set it up that way. Last year people grumbled about not being able to put a 3rd RB in the flex, but I don't want people to be able to start 3 AND require 2, just too much demand.
I'll have to make up my mind on the #3 pick and then from there just know the RB/WR options well enough to let the board dictate I guess.
I think it will be good. Stud RB's are still the most valuable commodity, but you don't have to take a RB in the first round, or have to take 2RB in the first 3 rounds.
Though you can RB-RB-RB if you want...which I"ve done several times before.

What do you guys think of the Carolina WR's? I am keeping Cam newton in my keeper league but i really have no idea who he is going to throw to.
Greg olsen seems like the best option, followed by Kevin B?

Now is the time for those of you who haven't already started playing Daily Fantasy Football to do some research on it. I guarantee you will not regret it.
Impurityz, jross, and a few others can vouch for how fun it is.

its for money
you can win quite a bit if you know what you are doing
but I would advise anyone interested to wait until closer to football season to join sites. I imagine they might try to do some bonus stuff considering how huge nfl is for them and how competitive sites get.
unless you like baseball to.... then by all means
some general info is here

seattle OC coming out today saying they want RB by committee.........
we've all been hearing about christine michael but lynch seems like the type that really thrives on repeatedly running the ball and wearing down the defense. cutting into his carries would really hurt that. granted he's not the youngest guy anymore and does have a lot of tread on the tires.
rotoworld article -
Seahawks OC Darrell Bevell told reporters Wednesday that his offense will use a "running back by committee" approach in 2014.
The idea may seem crazy based on Marshawn Lynch's league-high 1,002 carries over the past three seasons, but Bevell wants to get someone special more involved. "We are going to be running back by committee," Bevell promised. "We really like what Christine Michael is doing right now." Earlier in the offseason, coach Pete Carroll referred to 2013 second-round pick Michael as Seattle's "biggest breakout candidate" for the 2014 season. GM John Schneider called C-Mike one of the Seahawks' "most explosive offensive players."
