Excite for the draft tonight but still a bit early on FF for me.
Thinking about keeping RG3 (round 9)... on the fence about megatron (was last pick of first round last year). 12man .5ppr

Draft confirms Jamaal Charles the obvious #1 back for next year. A great option in Marquise Lee sitting right there for the chiefs and they go potato and draft a backup to Tamba Hali and Justin Houston.
Chiefs ok with continuing to run Jamaal into the ground, another 1k receiving and 1500 rushing season incoming.☻/

MANZIEL TO THE BROWNS! I had a really good feeling about the Browns this season. I have felt since the Richardson trade that the Browns were going to be excellent in the 2014-2015 season.
What does this do for Gordons fantasy draft? Does he go round ONE in a 10-12 man draft? Dare take him before Megatron? Will Manziel be drafted as a fantasy starter? If so how late?"Truth is treason in an empire of lies" - Ron Paul

Thoughts on Houston's D this upcoming season? I read Watt called Clowney and told him he was going to mentor him. Scary pass rush but I don't know much about their secondary

You can bet Houston drafts a QB pretty soon. Probably the next round. Their defense is just plain going to be sick. I'm wondering how Foster will hold up. He's been ran into the ground, he's injury prone, and his marriage is in shambles after finding out he got his girlfriend pregnant and she's suing him for trying to force abortion...

Looks like my dream keeper from the 8th round (round I would lose this year) just smoked away my excitement for this year. Hopfully Gordon somehow weasels out of this one..

haha.
I'm 100% going Sammy Watkins, especially if he's cheap (which he should be in week 1).
Just judging by the schedules, I'll be looking to target:
QB: Brees
QB: Bortles (SRS) - cheap and playing from behind all game.
QB: Luck - Manning, but he's going to be wicked expensive.
RB: McCoy
RB: Peterson
RB: Whatever cheapo's are available after I fill my LU
WR: Watkins
WR: Somebody in Denver
TE: Julius Thomas da gawd
TE: Jace Amaro if he's named starter. Dude can ball.
D: Chitown
Yes, I have an addiction.
No, I don't care.

I would never have drafted Gordon as high as he's been projected, the suspension only makes it easier for me to pass on him. If by somehow the NFL goes full retard and he only gets 8 games then I think people will still draft him. Anymore then 8, say 10-12+ and I think he'll go undrafted in the vast majority of leagues, with owners of winning teams stashing him on the bench early.

Guys, I've never been so torn before, reps for good advice
10 team, standard scoring, 1QB 2RB 2WR 1TE 1RB/WR/TE, keep 2 this year....keep 4 going forward, no restrictions
My first guy is JC...after that...
Do you keep AP or Jimmy Graham?
Jimmy Graham
Pros
- never need to draft a TE (basically extra bench spot for RB/WR and extra draft pick)
- unquestionable #1 TE (top #5 receiving player)
- scores twice as many points as #10 TE
- 27 years old at TE, could be elite for next 8-9 years (all league players are close friends, 5th year since league started)
Cons
- RB is a premium in this league, projecting keepers its looking like
QB - 3
RB - 8 (most will keep RB's and most first round picks will be RB's.....I have pick 1.9)
WR - 6
TE - 1
*doesn't add up to 20, you can keep 1 and get an early pick which a few teams will do
- receiving TE's like graham are being drafted more and incorporated more...does his uniqueness start to become more the norm?
- a very slim, but still possible chance I could get him back at 1.9...no way AP makes it back
All Day
Pros
- he's AP
- he's a RB
- I'd have two of the top 3 running backs (this season)
- MIN OF looking juicier with teddy and Paterson's second year
- i could draft thomas or gronk at 2.2 or vernon/cameron at 3.9 or 4.2...runningback at 1.9 would be bernard, bush, ball, morris, spiller, mathews
Cons
-I may have to play against him multiple times including postseason
- hes getting older, would only keep another year or two...trade value highly decreased
- graham scored more last year...that trend could very well continue, do I go for points and ignore position?Phillies - Flyers - Steelers
do it

I could see him going way before that in a deep keeper league if he's available, especially if it's a league where you can keep the player for mutiple years.
AP. You can find a serviceable TE to replace Graham, especially in a 10 team league.MUFC | Buccaneers | Tomahawk Nation

My league has 2 RB's and a flex. Throughout the year people say it's more pass-happy, so draft an elite QB. NOOOO, can't be more wrong. That means there's an even greater premium on elite backs. Last year I went 3 headed monster with Jamal, T-Rich, Murrary, (and ended up getting Zac Stacy to fill sorry ass T-Rich). Made it to the championship with a decent QB: Cam Newton (5th round). Go RB-RB early if you can, and wait on a QB. Gerhart tothee Jags is interesting. Don't just draft hand-cuff RB's for your starters, draft sleeping starters like Daryl Richardson last year (he sucked, but I ended up getting Stacy following the Rams RB train)

Let me just finish this out for you:
Doug Martin wouldn't have even been an RB1 in 2012 if not for one or two big games.
Ryan Mathews is a no talent hack who never accomplished anything and will never be worth owning.
Calvin Johnson isn't worth an early first round pick.
There's nothing wrong with Arian Foster, he isn't an injury risk, he's just resting, he'll be a top-3 RB for sure.
Trent Richardson is talented, ignore that he only had a 3.6ypc avg (or was it 3.4?) his rookie year, he'll be the engine of the offense.
Did I miss any good ones?
(other than the one I got wrong about Andre Brown)
And there's no Y in Larry Fitzgerald
