1999 British Grand Prix - DVD PICS!!!
Here are some DVD pics of the introductions to all of the bodybuilders that took part at the 1999 British Grand Prix. This line up was full of some of the best talent of the 1990's. Chris Cormier, Shawn Ray and Paul Dillett did not compete. Does anyone know why Shawn never competed in the European Tour?

I always get sad when I see latter-era Nasser. Did he even diet for shows at the end?
We're dodging more ninjitsu attacks than Flex Wheeler. We're ducking more bullets than George Farah. We're facing more death than a kid leg pressing at Branch Warren's gym.
You can't stop us. You can't hold us back.
IFBB brahs über alles.

ive seen his dvd collection and he's said many times he only wanted to win the Olympia. He was injured in 1989 and was suspended from competing that year because he withdrew from the Arnold that year. He competed in the 1990 ironman to qualify for the O. The Arnold 1990 a week later he was disqualified from 1st place because of drugs LOL. He won the title again the year after. Then from then on focused entirely on the O with no interest in the tours after, but he did appearances/guest posings for $$$. Also competed in some shows in 1996 to test different peaking methods.

Np Roro. Reps or no reps, it's all good.
Right back at yah Sed lol.
That's an odd reason to not do the European tour. I'm pretty sure he would of won a lot of contests on that tour and would of made a ton of money as well.
Yeah, the best lighting in history. The old Ironman Pro contests had some great lighting as well.Legends Of Bodybuilding!!! 1000's OF PICS OF YOUR FAVOURITE BODYBUILDERS!!!

It looks pretty epic, but to me it's too dark. You can't even see their faces that well sometimes, almost overdramatic.. Still that combined with the low res grain that the cameras provide, looks pretty badass lol. Gotta agree with the Ironman though, brigher, but still made the guys look really sharp.

John Hodgson was probably the most conditioned bodybuilder in the show.
