We were going to do that, but we didn't want to keep out people that had other goals such as cutting. Although we don't believe cutting is the highest and best use for this supplement, we do believe it will allow users to drop their calories lower than usual and train harder than they typically would on a cut without sacrificing lean mass. We thought it would be interesting to see how that worked out.

It is also difficult for us to know what someone's TDEE really is. There are so many factors and no two people are the same. As with any successful program, we expect people to monitor and change their intakes based on the results they are seeing.

I actually think cutting would be a great use for HMB. Cutting and balls to the wall training are basically the best uses for HMB IMO, typical regular middle of the road training though or low volume strength programs in which muscle damage is not much of a factor, those are probably not going to yield much if any appreciable results from HMB supplementation.

Sorry if this was answered already, but I believe you guys said it would be available to purchase in May sometime? Also do you guys know roughly how much it will be (if this can't be answered I understand), but if a 10$ish range could be posted that would be cool and helpful (so I know roughly what I can spend this month on sups ) ?

At the end of the day, we just want thorough apps. Apps that list as much info as you think is important (people that share a lot in there app will probably share a lot in their logs) and an explanation as to why you think you are a good candidate. I thought you did a good job explaining that earlier today.
Yep. I personal dont know the 1RM. I been training purely for hypertrophy. I dont record weight...I just look in the mirror. But I am willing to change and try out the new training program.

If you don't know your maxes, put down what you do know. I train solo as well, so I am very familiar with my max for a set of 10 reps. You can post that if you like. Getting a clear idea of your 1RM is nice if you can find a way to do it. I know in my gym there is always someone who is happy to spot me for something like this.

If I were you I would go ahead and get my application in now while the promo is sill on. you could even include when your current log will end and I'm sure the selectors would take note of this when deciding whether or not to choose you.

Worst case scenario is that you have to withdraw your application

The great thing for those that get selected is that by the time they are done with the 12 weeks, there should be a lot of other logs up from people who used clear muscle for a different routine. So those that get chosen will get the benefit of being able to run this workout plan provided by muscletech that gave great results, and then look at the logs of other people and see what routines worked best in conjunction with clear muscle. Best of both worlds

    Why Me?
Almost exactly 2yrs ago today a routine physical shocked the hell out of me when I weighed in at 138lbs fully clothed. I've always been a smaller frame but this was a far way off from what I would have been happy with. I started out not even being able to bench my bodyweight for a 1RM. Two years of focus I'm nearing 160lbs (never really done a big fat bulk but slower/leaner gaining) and have pushed myself to the point of being able to actually get rid of all the small sized shirts in my wardrobe and even some of the mediums.
Someone who is at the gym by 5:15 for the workout isn't going to slack on a log and certainly not one with a product aimed to help me continue adding quality size and strength.

I'd like to throw my hat into the ring. If my lack of posting here works against me I get it, but I gotta give this a shot.
For what it's worth I've been a bodyspace member for 4 years, long time lurker on the board. Anyway, here goes.
About me: I'm a high school teacher, looking forward to getting out for the summer. I've always been skinny, so I started training almost 5 years ago. When I began I was under 130 pounds, today I'm 172. After 1-2 years of flailing around with no idea what I was doing I started focusing on compound lifts and began to see more progress. My training took a bit of a hit in the fall of 2012 when I trained for Tough Mudder and focused on endurance stuff and I lost a lot of my previous gains. Since the beginning of 2013 I've been running 5/3/1.

    My stats:
    29 years old, 5'8, 172 pounds, 17% body fat.

    34” waist
    35.5” hips
    11.75” forearms
    15” calves
    24” thighs
    15.5” arms
    41” chest
49” shoulders (if I'm measuring them properly)

    The lifts:
Bench: 175 5rm. I will be going for a 1rm on Monday, I will update.
Deadlift: 385 1rm, last week Tuesday.
    Squat: 315 3 rm. I've never gone for a true 1rm.

Running 5/3/1 currently. The cycle I am finishing this week were based off the following 1rm:
Bench:215 (I don't think I could actually hit this, but I'll know for sure Monday)
Dead:405 (this is my white whale)
    Squat:370 (not a chance)

Current routine: like I said I've been running 5/3/1 for awhile now. As a strength program I absolutely love it. But I've always had two fundamental goals in training: get strong and look strong. While my numbers aren't impressive on a board like this where plenty of guys probably floss with my bench max, I'm A LOT stronger than when I began. First day in the gym my friend set me up with a 25 on each side of the bar and it pinned me to the bench. Not to be over dramatic, but that was one of the most embarrassing moments of my life, so being at a point where I can rep a little with 175 is a lot of progress for me. So while I love the strength gains the mass gains haven't been quite what I want, so my plan has been to take a temporary break from 5/3/1 for a few months and move to a more pure bodybuilding split, with lower weight and more in the 8-12 rep range. A large part of me resisted adding a bunch of arm iso stuff, but in the last two months or so I've started to bastardize 5/3/1 a bit (sorry, jim, I'm not proud of it) and add that iso stuff and I love the way my body has responded. I'll definitely come back to 5/3/1, but at the moment I'm planning to follow my vanity and try to put on some size. If I'm fortunate enough to get selected to log clear muscle, I will give that program every ounce I have like I've been doing with 5/3/1.

Diet: Monday to Friday it's on point. About 3200 calories, roughly 40/40/20 split. I'm Obviously willing to adjust to what the program dictates. Weekends lately I've been sloppy, beer and chicken wings, but this supp would be the right motivation to clean that up.

Supps: ON whey, ON 2:1:1 recovery, ON casein, fish oil, glucosamine, and creatine monohydate. Oh, and cyto carb in my pre workout shake.

I've never done any logs before and I don't post in this board, so that's at least 2 strikes against me. But you should select me because I am exactly the type of dedicated lifter you're looking for. I don't miss the gym for anything. My long time training partner blew out his shoulder in January, and it hasn't affected my training at all. While I haven't logged a product yet, I have kept meticulous logs of my training for the last three years. Every workout, every lift, every rep is recorded. I will provide you with precise, detailed logs of every step of the process. To be honest, I'm skeptical of the claims made by the study, but I'm intrigued by the double blind nature of the study enough that if there's a chance this new supp can assist me to anything approaching those kind of gains, then I gotta take a shot.

Goal: my goal with this program would be to gain lean muscle. I'm at about the outer limit of body fat that I'm willing to carry, so this will not be a dirty bulk, but gaining size and muscle will be my main focus. Additionally, I desperately want to hit that 405 dead, and while I doubt it would happen during these 12 weeks I want that 225 bench, or to at least get a little closer.

Thanks for looking beyond the post count, I can't wait to get to work.

    Talking

Also I would post weekly workout videos to YouTube with workout clips and commentary on how I feel and how I am keeping up with the workout program what I ate for the day etc.
Last video I did I hit a PR. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zDz_SDBiya4 I would definitely share the word and my progress on my Facebook.

If the weight plus weighted clothing that I have at home becomes to little, I will reinstate my gym membership. As far as macros go, they change depending on how I feel for the day. Some days I have been known to eat really low carb and other days I pack em in if I feel that my glycogen levels are near depleted. I have recently been cutting but I am looking to increase size and lifts. More muscle would help me burn fat anyway. And 3months of being dedicated to a log would give me added motivation from an external source.

BlueRev, itís nice to see another EMT on the forums! Iíve been volunteering for five years. Iíd absolutely love the opportunity to run this log.

    Bcgadzinski's Application!

Why I Want to Log Clear Muscle:

Iím a long time fan of MuscleTech. NeuroCore was the first pre-workout that I ever tried, and NANO VAPOR is one of my staple supplements. MuscleTech is a company that I have absolute confidence in, and Iíd be extremely grateful for the opportunity to test this new product. Iím about to graduate with my BS in Biology, and going on to graduate school for Medical Science. So naturally, the first thing that I did was research HMB. There is a lot of promising research for it, and itíd be fantastic to be able to test the effects on myself. I currently use HICA-Max, which like HBA is also a metabolite of leucine. Based on my great results supplementing with HICA-Max, I am confident that Clear Muscle will also give me superb results.

    About Me:

Iíve first started seriously lifting weights eight years ago during high school football, and Iíve never looked back. Iím currently a scholarship rugby player at my college, and also hold the USAPL State Records for Bench, Squat, Deadlift, and Total in Menís Open Raw (220 lb/100kg) and Menís Junior Raw (220 lb/100kg). These are a testament to my work ethic, and I can ensure that I will give a hundred percent effort in both the program and log. I can also draw on my experience as a science student in order to deliver a thorough and accurate log.

    My stats:
    • 21 Years Old
    • 6 foot 1 Inches
    • 206.3 lbs
    • 9% BF (Based on one-site caliper testing)

    My big four lifts are:
    • 300 lb Bench/265 lb Paused Bench
    • 410 lb Deadlift
    • 405 lb Squat
    • 180 lb Overhead Press

Iím currently nearing the end of my cut, and on the last week of Jim Stoppaniís Super Shredded 8. I love the structure of following a program, so this log is an ideal fit for me. I also havenít performed a full body program or undulating periodization in years, so I believe that Iíd respond very well to the new training stimulus. Iím currently eating at a 20% caloric deficit from my TDEE, with a macronutrient ratio of approximately 35/35/30 protein/fat/carbs. This was my most recent progress photo, documenting the difference between February 22, 2014 and April 7, 2014:

By completing this log, Iíd be able to accelerate my goal of becoming lean enough to destroy those lingering stubborn fat deposits that Iíve had since puberty, and then switch to maintenance calories and work on body recomposition. Clear Muscle complements my goals perfectly because the improved recovery and protein synthesis from the HMB would allow me to maintain a high work capacity while under the caloric deficit, and also support the addition of lean muscle once I reach maintenance. As a poor college student, the Platinum 100% Whey would also help me in financially supporting my goals.

    Logging History:

I am currently concluding my HICA-Max log with Labrada:

    http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showth...71&pagenumber=

I am also currently running my PUMP EXTREM/GLUTA BLAST/CON-CRET log for ProMera, which should be over in about two weeks and hopefully wouldnít conflict with this opportunity.

I would love to log Clear Muscle for you guys.. I'm currently modeling and am always on the lookout for hot new supplements that contain less fillers/additives and more of the stuff that bodybuilders actually need.. I am 5'11", 193 lb and am at 12% body fat.. I workout 4 times a week and each day is a full body workout. First I start off with an upper body circuit, hitting everything including my arms. After about 2-3 sets of that I then do 2 legs circuits and end with 3-4 ab circuits. My rep range is around 4-6, but I usually include a rep range of around 10 reps for one set in each body part. Each rep in the workout is done explosively, with all movements pushing all pulling the weight so that it is in free fall for a short period of time. Just showing that I can move the weight fast enough to get it up in the air, above my grip a tiny bit. During the circuits there is no rest, and I always cycle one day on with one day off, while doing cardio on rest days. But most importantly, my diet consists of only whole grains and about 1g protein per lb of bodyweight, with some healthy fats on the sides of meals. I've been looking for a bodybuilding supplement that sheds all the fat off the nutrition label for a long time now, and am happy that a reputable company has finally created one. Thankfully some companies do listen to their customers, and I'd log this product anytime.

    Maxes:
    Bench 245x1
    Squat 285x1

About Myself- I've been training seriously for two years. At my biggest, I was a lean 175 and lifting hard and heavy 4 times a week. Nursing injuries took me out of the gym long enough to lose 20 lbs of hard earned progress. After being back in the gym religiously for the past 3 months, my muscles are coming back, my strength is getting there, but it is taking time to get my weight back up. Since being back in the gym, I regularly take progress pictures and keep a gym journal. While I have never done a product review, I wouldn't let that discourage you from selecting me as a logger. I am dedicated, hard-working, and commit 110% to anything I do. Already privately logging my progress over the past few months will seamlessly flow into a supplement training log. Right now, I am not taking anything other than caffeine and creatine, so it would not interfere with any other projects. I am able and willing to post pictures, videos, and anything else to further my personal accountability to this project.

    Current Stats-
    Height- 6'
    Weight- 160lbs
    Estimated BF- 10-12%
    Max Bench- 195
    Max Squat- 215
    Max Deadlift- 300

Current Routine- Push/Pull On two days, off one, repeat. 4x5 on compound lifts and 2-3x10 on accessory work.

Current Diet- I try to eat between 2900-3000 Calories. High carbs, high protein, low fat diet 40/40/20. Mainly lean meats, eggs and vegetables, pastas and bread from time to time.

Goals- To add serious lean mass, gain 10 lbs, and send my lifts through the roof.

    Nyrin's Application

    Stats:
    • Current weight: 168lbs @ 5'11" (still bulking)
    • Current BF%: 17-18% (estimated; my abs are disappearing but I don't much care yet)
    • Current lift maxes:
      • Bench: 170lbs x 6 (finishing pec strain recovery at the moment)
      • Push press: 135lbs x 6
      • Squat: 225lbs x 4
      • Deadlift: 245lbs x 6
    • Routine: Modified GSLP (3x weekly full-body with the above exercises + some accessorization; 60-75 minute workouts + warmup)
    • Diet: ~3000 tracked calories per day (+300-400 vs. TDEE), 200g+ protein, 70g+ fat, remaining macros discretionary

What do I want to accomplish? I only started my lifting a little over six months ago and, in that time, I've added almost 30 pounds of mass, starting as a 140lb weakling. I still have a long way to go to reach my long-term goals, but a big part of this is continuing to put on a lot more muscle. I'm extremely serious about my diet and training and always looking for good ways to accelerate and optimize my progress; BetaTOR and Clear Muscle look extremely promising for continuing to push me ahead in what I'm striving to achieve.

Why pick me? I'm a perfect fit for the needs of the HMB-FA use. I'm already doing a 3x weekly full-body routine, which meshes nicely with Phase 1; I'm chronically pushing myself too hard, which is a perfect fit for Phase 2 and the real Clear Muscle benefits; and I'm in an interesting enough place in my mass-building progress where I'll be able to see real differences but not have them be "noob gains." Further, I'm very analytical and thorough in my logs, very fastidious with maintaining my diet and training, and more than eager to share real, honest feedback and thoughts as I go through the 12-week program.

Prior logs? See my signature--the GAT Adenoflex log is the best example of the thoroughness I can bring to this logging opportunity. Plus, you can see how many times Swuuu has to yell at me to stop overtraining and take a rest day.
I'd love to try it as part of the test team, just like one bottle.... but the log here is too much for me. I am however voting for Nyrin here to get picked. He's probably the best logger I've seen. +1 for Nyrin.

I have done one log in the past, and that was for Pro Supps, which I just finished. It can be seen here: http://tinyurl.com/l2yg2f3

What I hope to accomplish is pretty simple. I want to make gains in size and strength, period. I've been stuck at 168lbs for a while, and I feel like Clear Muscle can help me blast through this plateau. I think I would make a good candidate not only because of how I push myself in weight training, but also because I feel like my current frame is set up well to add what Clear Muscle claims is possible.

I'm currently following Cory Gregory's "Get Swole" program. As far as diet goes, I'm currently taking in 2700-3k tracked calories daily. I train 5-6 times a week.

I've looked at the Clear Muscle program and would have no issue following that at all.

Again, thanks for the awesome opportunity MT. Good luck to those who are selected!
Can't edit my original post, but I can get 1RM for squat and dead lifts if needed!
