I have really dropped the ball on the updates. Still been in the gym regular, but I've been on vacation from work this week, which sounds like I'd have even more time to update, but it's been quite the opposite lol.
I am OUT of product as of yesterday. Had a really good with Prime Cut. Nearly all the work outs I had with it were top notch. As I stated in the log, I started out taking it in the morning upon waking for the nice appetite suppressant that it offers, but soon I switched to take more as a pre-workout. I definitely like it better as a pre-workout, but to each their own. The niacin flush definitely leveled out as of about halfway through the container. I barely noticed it towards the end.
Some other final thoughts:
Taste - 7/10 - I don't expect a grade A smoothie with these types of products, and with that being said, I was pretty happy overall with the taste. I had raspberry. The only thing I would say as a con, is that it left me feeling a little chalky after finishing the serving. It was also a bit tart, but nothing too over powering.
Energy - 9/10 - I've tried quite a few pre-workouts in my day, and while this is not necessarily marketed that way, I think it gets the job done in that fashion. My workouts were always very focused when I took it before my workout. Overall performance was on point as well.
Appetite suppression - 10/10 - I had no issues controlling my hunger over the last month, which is really important when you're dieting as many of you know. Going with no form of appetite suppression on a diet is ROUGH. This gave me a nice boost, especially being in a deficit, getting in the gym and needing to be focused on lifting and not what's going in your stomach.
Overall - 8/10 - I had a pretty good experience overall with SES's Prime Cut, and would definitely recommend it for anyone looking to diet. One of the things not mentioned in the other thoughts I had, was the delivery. This is the first product I've tried that has an appetite suppressant that is in powder form. While it wasn't a bad experience, I think I'd still prefer pill forms of appetite suppressant. Only because of how I take the product (as a pre-workout). If I'm going in for cardio, then it can be a little cumbersome to get on the treadmill after downing a shake lol. The focus and appetite suppressant is top notch though, that's for sure!
Edit: And as far as weight goes, I did go from 193-189. Which is right on point for a month of dieting
