Pt I here- http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showth...hp?t=147321393
We have a few members who are kind enough to offer their time giving estimates to others. If you are looking to find out what your BF% is at post in here. Remember that this is just guessing. Even using calipers, Dexa, BF scales, hydrostatic etc, is not a guarantee as there is always a margin of error from even the best. There are many other methods to measure progress and changes that are great to track as well. Remember that while losing BF is a great thing for health, a good base of LBM makes a world of difference in how you look as you reduce your BF%.
For best accuracy post your height and weight.
Best pictures are a front, side, and back pose and in a relaxed (unflexed) position.

Can I please get some opinion on what body fat percentage I am based on appearance. Trying to verify the accuracy of my calipers and I think my personal judgement is clouded. I'm 6'6" 257lbs.

Can I get a body fat estimate this is the best picture to judge accurately.
Why do I do this weightlifting thing for the last 34 years with all its ups and downs life has handed me? Because each time I came back stronger. NEVER GIVE UP. Gym life is about more than muscles getting bigger and weights going up. Its wisdom discipline dedication humility you name it.

Thanks for this thread. This community is unbelievably helpful. I am attaching some pics that I managed to take myself using the webcam. Please ignore the hair for now :P. P.S - I am 6 feet tall and weigh 170 pounds. My lower body is pretty muscular. Just the upper body and belly which is creating a problem.

Yeah I know. I think I've gotta get lean first so I can get a good idea of exactly where I am first. This is the first time I've ever paid attention to what I'm eating.

Can I please get some opinions on BF%? Do I have enough mass to go on a serious cut at this point? How would I look with this mass at around 14-15%?
Last pic (the real chubby one) is September..Curios as to what my BF% was before I lost all the weight.
5'11 195 lbs. In the last pic I was about 240lbs.

i dont think i have gyno. i think thats mostly my weird body composition...and fat. i had a real bad case of pectus excavatum. i had surgery on it but my body composition is still abnormal. my rib cage does not come out as much as most peoples and my bottom ribs flare out. this makes my pecs/chest look bigger, but also my gut more pronounced.
i still think im at least 17%. i have a lot of fat in the love handles area and pretty much no vascularity. and while flexing i barely get my top abs to show.
here's another side pic that further illustrates my odd body composition.
