You're retarded
Privileged doesn't necessarily mean that you have it easy. It just means that that you have it easy compared to others.
If you're born white, you could still have a plethora of issues to deal with and obstacles to overcome in life but one thing you'll seldom have to deal with is worrying about not fitting in based on physical appearance or being paranoid about others not liking you because of your physical appearance. If you're white, you have the pleasure of being able to be judged as an individual most of the time and not be grouped in with other people. Obviously, there are exceptions to the rule but those are just that, exceptions. I don't care if some random asian or black dude was racist to you one time. They're the minority.
If you're born straight, you can express yourself sexually without judgement
If you're born in a 1st world country and healthy, you're better off than most of the world already
If you're born with a great family and tall, you're better off than most people already
If you were born in recent decades, you're better off than your predecessors. I don't give a chit if this generation annoys you. Living in 2014 is unquestionably better than living in 1814. *******s complaining about how they hate living in 2014 wouldn't last a week without air conditioning, modern medicine, modern technology, our modern thought process (not being forced to go to war), etc

- Being privileged doesn't mean you have it easy, it just means you have it easier than most. Its not an insult either. Dont be offended by it

It's not that privilege doesn't exist, just that 90% of the time, anybody who says it doesn't know what the hell they're talking about. ie male privilege, being seen as some absolute advantage as oppose to one side of the coin where female privilege can be even greater.

I work in a job place where the minorities are the majority. They wear black power tshirts.
I'm straight and I can't express my feelings on homosexuals with out judgement.
My mother was a drug addict who died at 44 from long term drug use and my father was in prison my entire childhood.
But you're right.

Brah, all people are created equal. Racism died with Abraham Lincoln. There are no privileges, we all start out equal and whoever makes it makes it and whoever doesn't can live with the rest of the lazy, non-evolved mongoloids at the bottom of the barrel whether you're from Alabama or from Africa. I worked hard to get mine without any help from anybody or anything. I was born a blank slate and through intensity, integrity, and intelligence I willed my way out of my mother's womb and I created myself into a god among men. Your only privilege is that you happen to exist at the same time as the beginning of my great reign.

not a full blown race war thread yet
quite pleased with misc
but ye i agree with op
eerybody has privilege in on way or another, some more so than others"It is an illusion that youth is happy, an illusion of those who have lost it; but the young know they are wretched for they are full of the truthless ideal which have been instilled into them, and each time they come in contact with the real, they are bruised and wounded."

What the OP is trying to say is that, people of color will get judged as gangbanging, dumb, loud, ignorant motherfukkers, almost instantly most of the time or people will presume they fit in with some of/all those stereotypes. Whereas white folks are much more likely to judged without prejudice, and thus as an individual. No matter what you say, the white man still can't handle it when they see a black man being succesful and not adhering to the stereotypes.
"Up in 1st class, laugh even though it's not funny
See a white man wonder how the fukk I got money
While he sit at coach, hate to see me walk past 'im
Young black pants sag, headphones blastin'
Know what he askin', "how did he manage?"
"With all the cards against him, he used them to his advantage!"
Slang we be speakin' probably soundin' like Spanish
Then I fukk their heads up when a n***a show manners"Last edited by KidJRay; 04-12-2014 at 03:55 PM.
