1) Mesoraco was hitting against a righty.
2) Mesoraco has subpar stats at home vs righty.
3) Don't act like he was some kind of secret play, when he sucks against right handers.
4) It's a crapshoot in baseball.

Yeah, but had Soriano even put up a 2.25, I'd have finished in 2nd. But hindsight is 20/20. I stacked the 2 high-upside right-handed Yankees OFers vs. a lefty and one of them delivered. I'm OK with that. Like I said before, you have to trust the process.
