okay, well I'm taking you guys' advice.

I'm going to focus on myself and pick a champion and become great at only one or two champions.


I remember one of my fav champs used to be Veigar, and I know how strong he is now... so my first 2 games with him :

I'm gonna climb with him. What I love about Veigar, is I can build a bit tanky and still end up with loads of AP. Just need the magpen.

veigar late is busted, strong scaling and aoe stun. Until you get a game where their team has diana, xin, and jax.. Diana is cancer to any immobile squishy because she just deletes you and her r has surprising range. They need to change her so she's not so binary. Besides small skirmishes, if she doesn't deliver and delete someone in crucial fights she is useless but if she can delete people there's 0 counterplay. Actually you should play diana, just hit 6 and roam bot or just delete your midlaner, she doesn't rely on having decent teammates so you can scale like veigar

I'm pretty sure Kindred is considered bad right now, shes only a 6% pick rate as jungle , she's probably going to get buffed lol

Kindred is in a good spot right now. She still has a positive win% in plat+. Riot is always hesitant to buff her though because even small buffs make her so OP in competitive matches. She definitely is super snowball and highly dependent on getting marks. If you starve her marks she is pretty useless.

Veigar is definitely good to climb with, you can hardcarry games.

I'd suggest not building off-tank items like gauntlet though. It's true that you stack AP from Q over the course of the game, but building him glasscannon is still better (in pretty much every situation).

The reason for that is, if you have proper positioning and can land the stun, you should always be playing safely behind your team. In the case of assassins, you'll have zhonya, and enough AP to one shot. If you build off-tank items, you won't be able to one shot squishies with R.

Also I haven't tried tear->seraphs, but I feel like it's not ideal. You miss out on mid-game power spike, and also Veigar doesn't have big mana issues due to passive. Luden's is better for mid game spike.

Hey bros I just started playing LoL and recently hit level 7. How often should I be hearthing back to town? Feels like I'm fighting the little monsters then I need to go back and heal/regain mana after every fight. Also, I've only been doing co-op vs bots should I just jump right into pvp now that I understand the basics?

The first thing you need to learn is how to CS properly. CS means killing the lane minions to get gold. You should be aiming for about 100 CS at 10 minutes, and 200 CS at 20 minutes. You won't always get that, but that's what you should shoot for every game. Learn how to last hit properly so you don't miss lane minions.


Also, learn how to last hit while under your tower.

Melee minions can take 2 tower shots, and then you auto attack them (generally)

Wizard minions can take 1 tower shot, and then you auto attack them

NEVER miss a canon minion, because they give good gold, something like 60-90 gold each one.


Don't worry about chasing Kills so much. One kill is worth about 15-20 CS.

Practice that.

is bc you're in the jungle, learn how to mid lane or top lane first. jungling is more complicated. i recommend fizz or lissandra

Tips:
1.CSing is most important
2.you want to attack the enemy laner when they are csing and trade small combos - you want to combo them after they waste their skills, so that you do more dmg to them than they can do to you
3. then once you get them low hp, pick an opportunity - like them going for cannon minion -go all in combo to kill them
4. if you kill them, push your minions so their tower kills them

pretty much the whole game is just csing and trading combos, you want to last hit so that the minions dont push towards them- which will leave you open to getting ganked by their jungler

I ended preseason plat 3, so my first game put me gold 4 then I won 1 more and ranked up to 3.
I still skipped gold 2 even after the horrible start, so you should be able to skip as well in bronze since you did even better lol.

If the enemy jax has 3 items, what you basically do is... Try to 5v1 him, get aced, FF, then ban Jax every game.

Or chain CC him assuming your comp has CC, specifically CC him once he casts counterstrike.

are you still playing vs bots? people basically ignore each other and get really pissy when others get into their lanes. as to whether to do that in "real" games, it's highly situational.

enemy jungler got the best of me early game and was typing in all chat "Yikes" and "oof" when i was dying. and my team was getting pretty trashed on early game


so I just mute him and focus on my gameplay, and my team is really working good as a team and we make a very easy comeback and start to absolutely trash enemy team, so whenever this enemy rengar died I typed in all chat "yIkEs"


he shut up pretty quick once he started to get dunked on lol

don't think what little mr a squishy can build would help with that lol, the ap ratio on her ulted E is just busted. People still get destroyed by it in high elo so it's not some low success cheese, literally just need to land a massive hitbox skillshot to instantly win fights. It's not like building ap hurts her clear that much either since her W scales with ap and her %hp/auto from E does too
