for me, it's kinda ruined it
I never go out and party and sh*t cuz I'd rather spend the money buying more plates for my home gym, I'll go out with some close friends to smoke some weed like once a month or grab a bite to eat but that's about it
cliffs= no social life but IDGAF cuz all I need is my weights

Lifting will not change your social life. IMO, the best thing to help you is a job in retail or something similar where socializing is like 80% of the job. You learn how to talk to people.
Lifting weights will make you more sociable, but once someone comes up to you and wants to talk to you, they'll realize you don't know how to even carry a conversation and think you're weird.Top 3 Lana Del Rey albums:

Bahahha extrovert and love social life.
I don't party or drink tho, but always go out and eat with friends. Love school and people, i talk too much.
I think people use gym as an excuse for being shy or not outgoing...a lot of gym regulars i know are very outgoing and they put it major gym effort...Instagram: Blinktwicealoush
In it for the long haul.

**** you guys are a buzzkill
All it's done to my social life is piss off my fwb cause I'm at the gym a lot and get a lot of leg cramps at "bad times". Also friends think I'm a gym rat.
Still party, still drink, I just count my booze macros too (I try sometimes I get too drunk to remember tho). Like on Fridays, I go to gym at 7, finish up at 10, go get my post workout gyros, then I'll go out and drink and ****, Saturdays I don't lift so that's good too.
It's probably gonna affect football since I will miss half of my practices 3 times a week but big woop who gives a fck

brb out pretty much every weekend getting smashed and gained 25lbs of LBM in last 11 months. Like ya bodybuilding is my obsession but enjoying my life is more important. The two can go hand in hand Im evidence of that.
Same, I used to sit in on xbox for hours every day and didnt go out!
I hate disrespectful kunts like you and you probarbly wonder why you cant get any girls. And judging by her picture onm her profile she is FAR from hideous. Oh and 6'2 185lbs skinny fat, do you even lift?

Its just a lot easier to not give a fook what anyone thinks and ya I thought that once but ya its just extremely hard to go wild and have fun and truly not give a f**k without alcohol unless you're extremely outgoing! + nah ive only ever blacked out twice and ive been out nearly every weekend the last 2 years, you really have to drink WAY too much to black out and forget what happened

I don't really like talking about lifting too much with people I know, most people I know who do lift either don't understand the idea that there is no correct routine or that their splits are popular because of promotion via supplement companies and in reality they're no good beyond the first month at most. If anything I avoid people who's whole life seems to circulate around lifting.
As far as my general social life, not much has changed I feel more secure about myself than I did before but I now realise that it was really nothing to do with my physique and more of a reluctancy to take risks. Lifting if anything has made me more self reliant , self confident and self aware.
