Unless you have a 60s or 70s classic mustang, you're a douche.
These new 2015s look pretty sweet though

The Mustang with the Ford racing Whipple supercharger will bring the engine up to 700hp with a 5 year warranty. Add that to a new frame, IRS and a bench mark to be on par with the 911 and m3 (pre supercharger) all for around 45k...You can sign me up (srs).
I don't care if it looks like my clammy wrinkled nuts after a full day of being in a swimming pool. I don't care if every d*** head in 100 miles of me has one. Anything I don't like about the design of this car will fade away after I step on the loud pedal and giggle like a school girl.
It's not like the STI, EVO or Camaro are "pretty" cars.....There are very few cars under a 100k that I think are beautiful.Last edited by tbonez3858; 04-01-2014 at 01:18 PM.

^^^This. So tired of retro. If I wanted an old looking car I would buy an old car and modernize it. There are no less than a dozen companies that do this type of work. Sports cars/pony cars are supposed to be on the forefront of technology so why would I buy a car that looks 30 years old...It's why I don't own a current American muscle car.

They're selling it globally. They're not just trying to appease the nostalgic gear head in the states anymore. I think they've done a good job blending muscle with refinement( as far as the exterior goes). The interior is by far the best ever. Your 13 holds nothing to it. I went to the mustang show in Charlotte, kenne hell already has a 3.1 kit for the new 5.0 advertised at making 750rwhp.

Well, since I'm a douche....I'll be douchey.....Negged.
(how bout them apples, scooter).
So, lets think about this.
I can (and did) buy a 2011 GT Premium for $25K. Has the look of the 60s models that I love, but ALL the modern day conveniences and creature comforts. What you're telling me is that I should just buy a 60s car and modernize it?
Yep...there are all kinds of companies that do this....but I'm assuming you haven't done a bit of research to see how much it costs to do this.
If you did, I think you'd have a better understanding of why that is not in the LEAST economical for the vast majority of people and why they chose to pick up a late model over a classic. I'd much rather have a classic again....and may very well do so later. But for now....makes very little sense economically."Hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard"

Im not going to say that I've put a calculator to it and can debate a 25k price tag. Thats a pretty low price for a new car. I do know the price of the classic muscle cars keep going up in price and will continue. I've seen a great deal of modernized classic era cars in my area for around 40k. When I've priced out a new Mustangs in the past they always seem to have a 35k to 40k price range. I realize there are incentives that can drive the price lower but I've honestly never seen a Mustang at 25k. You can easily pick them up for 25k today because its the outgoing model. At the 40k new price point its a no brainer (to me) to pick up the classic. There is always the debate of financing and warranty to be had, however. But if you listen real close, you can hear them whisper their legacy to you. Go on, lean in. Hah 0 phucks given about my rep power, it's meaningless. Yes, according to Spike it's even douchier than a Chevy SSR. http://www.spike.com/articles/epcfh9...for-douchebags
I'd be embarrassed to be you - the 2011 GT Premium looks nothing like a classic Mustang.I'm super serial

If I saw a $40K resto mod, I'd pass. It's probably not nearly as "moderized" as you might think. Just dropping in a late model motor does not equate.
If you look at builds that have taken late model interior, drive train, ABS brakes, sound system, airbags, suspension, etc....you're WELL over $40K.
Last time I shopped for a clean body (body, no interior, drive train, glass, etc) that didn't need body work or newer sheet metal they were $5K alone. $5-$10K for an engine...another $4+ for transmission....Disk brakes, interior....then you have a couple of grand ($3-$5K+) for paint. You could of course get a wrecked late model....but then you're out $8 - $10K for that. And that's if you do all of the work yourself.....not even looking at labor.
Of course you have the option of going with an a new Daynacorn body but that's already over half of that $40K you're talking
I understand your thinking...but to really Restomod one to the standards of a latemodel....you're very easily going to blow $40K out of the water, man.
LOL @ you saying reps mean nothing, but then trying to neg me back to get even.
LOL @ you basing your thinking off of a SpikeTV link....yeah....who's the douche bag here? (srsly LOL here at this one....great resource lol)
LOL @ being so blind (or acting stupid?) not to see the similarities between the classics and the 2005-2014.
If anyone should be embarrassed I think it would be you, junior....you just made yourself look like a complete idiot...lol
You need to stop...seriously. With your original comments, its clear you came in here with the purpose of trolling. So again, you need to stop.Last edited by cgc; 04-18-2014 at 07:45 AM.

Actually I do and I'm currently 205lbs. I didn't find being 220+ beneficial to Muay thai and BJJ, so I leaned out. If you'd like to know anything else about my routines, PM me.
Piss poor effort, "bro".

It happens
Nope, the plan is to keep my '11 GT and let it be my "toy" eventually instead of my daily driver. Once it's paid off, I'll either pick up a beater or just inherit my wife's SUV.
Maybe one day pick up another 69 fastback....but I don't see that realistically happening. I can dream though.
But I really don't like the 2015 much at all."Hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard"

The guard color is really weird. In all of the color schemes I've seen the car looks grey. In all of the pictures of the actual car it looks green tinted. Can't decide if do want or do not want. I've never had a white car so I'm leaning in that direction.
I think the bright colors look best but do not want extra attention from my cities finest. But if you listen real close, you can hear them whisper their legacy to you. Go on, lean in. Listen, you hear it? - - Carpe - - hear it? - - Carpe, carpe Landīca, seize IT boys, make your lives extraordinary.

i totally agree. my first mustang was like race red, i do like that. then my 07 GT was a dark gray, that looked good clean but didn't stick out from five miles down the highway.
it's not like i'll be breaking the speed limit and racing on the highway, esp with the ecoboost, so i'll get a bright color. my order is still more than a year off anyways.☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ ★cVc★ ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆
