    Who even asks this type of question? CURLS? Come on are you serious? Who gives a **** about curls, when I curl I do light weight. I rarely go heavy. I work on my triceps twice a week heavy which = bigger arms as 2/3 of your arms are tricep.

    Bingo. Biceps don't take much, do a couple exercises and stick with them.

    Triceps take a beating on my end and they show because of it. BRB hit on chest day+1 tricep exercise, worked on shoulder day as a secondary muscle, then given a day with heavy skullcrushers, close grip, dips, various pushdowns, etc. Triceps are significantly larger than your bi's will ever be so you should be more concerned about them.

    Why is everyone bashing on OP? There are curl competitions at PLing and fitness events. It really is something that people care about. I don't care that much about it but it would be badass to be curling 135+ barbell for high reps one day. Currently only do 3x12 with 80 lb barbell.

    i do barbell curls as my second bicep exercise on my pull days and i use an 80lb barbell for 8 slow reps but im gonna go up to the 90lb barbell on wed.
    as for dumbbell curls i never do them, besides hammers, and i use 40 or 45lbs
