    BACK AND BI TODAY

Had a ridiculously crazy night and was waaay of my mark all day. Entire workout was done at 1130am and entirely fasted.

mixed 1scoop of Women's Elite with 1 generous scoop of CapsiBlast in 6oz water and took it back like a shot.

    Warmup

    Pull ups
    10 @ bw+10lbs
    2x 15 @ bw
    12 @ bw
    11 @ bw

Mixed GlutaBlast w 8oz water and sipped throughout workout
    . I love that stuff.

    Workout
    Pull ups
    3x10 @bw +30
    8 @ bw

    Iso row
    3x8 @ 190
    10 @ 170
    10 @ 150
    12 @ 130
    13 @ 110
    15 @ 90

    Inverted row (off smith)
    10 @ bw
    3x8 @ bw + ~40lb chain

    21's- curls
    3 sets on EZ bar + 25lbs

    Cross body curls
    3x10 @ 20lbs

    Lat pull down
    3x8 @ 105
    15 @ 75

    15min light cardio on stationary

Then I dipped out to cram my face w food because I was starving, bit energy was pretty good and focused despite not having eaten all morning. I imagine this would be good if I ever forced myself into fasted cardio

    Nice taper, Evin Beautiful!

I think Gluta-Blast is my favorite ProMera supp. I trained on it for the first time in my last log and I now drink it everyday whether I workout or not. I've noticed a big difference in my recovery

I like the looks of those inverted rows with chains and 21s (!!!!) I haven't done 21s in ages!

    Wednesday's Workout

I had glutablast in the morning and took Capsi blast, gluta blast, and women's elite on the way to the gym. Still had some slight soreness from Monday, but nothing serious. I seem to be retaining water, but I figure it'll even out. I have eaten slightly higher carbs this week so it was expected.

    Squat -
    135x7
    185x4
    185x4
    185x4

bench - First time back up to 90 lbs for reps since the wreck a year ago! Well on my way back to 100 lbs and that's where I was pre wreck.
    65x7
    70x6
    75x5
    85x5
    90x5
    90x3

    75x5

    bb rows
    60x8
    60x8
    60x8
    60x8

    Butt blaster
    3 sets of 6

    Lat pulldown
    55x8
    55x8

After that I walked 2 miles with my oldest son (almost 14) and he did this complete workout with me as well minus the squats. He did leg press. Afterward he talked me into running a bit and it just about killed me...we stuck with walking. lol Wednesday night we went fishing and flipped our boat so I got an unexpected workout treading water while I waited for everyone else to get up on a party barge that came to our rescue. (lesson about having a life jacket on rather than near you I guess) Everyone was fine, kiddos were shook up, but ok. We got the boat flipped back over and rescued most of our stuff out of the water as well. We're stubborn so today we went back so me and hubs ended up paddling our scanoe (similar to a canoe but wider) for 4 hours. Ended up with a pretty good workout over the last couple days.

haha that makes sense. numbers are still pretty solid at the volume you're running. i'm guessing your rest cycles aren't to long either. all in all very strong considering coming back from injury. always good to see when people don't just accept an outcome

It has taken a while to get my strength back and I'm still not quite there, but when I think about how weak I was after the wreck I'm amazed at where I'm at now. for a couple months after the wreck I couldn't pull clothes out of the washer and put them in the dryer without pain, and now I'm back to deadlifting. My chiro is still not thrilled with the squats and heavy lifting, but he knows I made my decision. (He'd prefer lighter weights and no squats or deads....but hey, I love squats! )

As for rest, during lifting I rest very little between sets. I lift mon, wed, fri. and I'm Adding cardio in on tues, thurs, saturday. (Today was paddling) Full rest on Sunday. I'm trying to get my stamina up and weight down so I can do a spartan next spring or summer with my son. I've tried less volume, but when I get in the gym I just don't want to leave. I have to force myself out of the gym after what I do, especially with the supps. When I started lifting it was to preserve muscle and aide in fat loss, I never expected to find something I love so much. I guess it's easy to keep going when you love it so much.

Now that my lifting is on track, I've got to get even tighter with my cals and macros and work on my running.
