Nice taper, Evin Beautiful!
I think Gluta-Blast is my favorite ProMera supp. I trained on it for the first time in my last log and I now drink it everyday whether I workout or not. I've noticed a big difference in my recovery
I like the looks of those inverted rows with chains and 21s (!!!!) I haven't done 21s in ages!Caring about what people think of you is useless. Most people don't even know what they think of themselves.

Wednesday's Workout
I had glutablast in the morning and took Capsi blast, gluta blast, and women's elite on the way to the gym. Still had some slight soreness from Monday, but nothing serious. I seem to be retaining water, but I figure it'll even out. I have eaten slightly higher carbs this week so it was expected.

After that I walked 2 miles with my oldest son (almost 14) and he did this complete workout with me as well minus the squats. He did leg press. Afterward he talked me into running a bit and it just about killed me...we stuck with walking. lol Wednesday night we went fishing and flipped our boat so I got an unexpected workout treading water while I waited for everyone else to get up on a party barge that came to our rescue. (lesson about having a life jacket on rather than near you I guess) Everyone was fine, kiddos were shook up, but ok. We got the boat flipped back over and rescued most of our stuff out of the water as well. We're stubborn so today we went back so me and hubs ended up paddling our scanoe (similar to a canoe but wider) for 4 hours. Ended up with a pretty good workout over the last couple days.Last edited by PunkyCindy; 04-03-2014 at 06:42 PM.

i didn't understand the 90-100 comment about squats though? The dumber people think you are, the more surprised they're going to be when you kill them. - William Clayton

Thank you
It has taken a while to get my strength back and I'm still not quite there, but when I think about how weak I was after the wreck I'm amazed at where I'm at now. for a couple months after the wreck I couldn't pull clothes out of the washer and put them in the dryer without pain, and now I'm back to deadlifting. My chiro is still not thrilled with the squats and heavy lifting, but he knows I made my decision. (He'd prefer lighter weights and no squats or deads....but hey, I love squats! )
As for rest, during lifting I rest very little between sets. I lift mon, wed, fri. and I'm Adding cardio in on tues, thurs, saturday. (Today was paddling) Full rest on Sunday. I'm trying to get my stamina up and weight down so I can do a spartan next spring or summer with my son. I've tried less volume, but when I get in the gym I just don't want to leave. I have to force myself out of the gym after what I do, especially with the supps. When I started lifting it was to preserve muscle and aide in fat loss, I never expected to find something I love so much. I guess it's easy to keep going when you love it so much.
Now that my lifting is on track, I've got to get even tighter with my cals and macros and work on my running.Hi, I'm Crystal :)
