Dad went to hospital for 6 HOURS, Cost 18,000 DOLLARS
-Wasn't admitted, was just siting emergency room
-had blood pressure taken
-had heart monitored (in case it was heart attack)
-had a cardiologist come in and read bullchit off his chart
-took xray/blood test
-took a stress test
-didn't get any medicine or anything
-solely monitoring
Bill = $18,000
Brb doing all med work on myself.
Edit: insurance is covering half or all due to insurance discounts that are connected to the specific Hospital.

Walked in the hospital because I was having an allergic reaction. Walk in sit down on the table they take Blood pressure, heart rate, redness and swelling just stop and I look fine. I was there 15 mins tops... $750

I busted my head open and the bill for the ambulance ride and ER visit came out to about $5000. But my insurance brought it down to $15.
