Do you need to train calves

My calves are pretty big and cut naturally, so should everyone train calves or is it not needed. I do back squats, front squats, stiff legged deadlifts and normal deadlifts in my program. Should I add calf raises or something like that thanks in advance!

Yes, believe it or not calves are also very important for DL and squat. Train them to make them huge if that's what motivates you!

I suggest powershrugs 3x5, calf raises on leg press 4x20+, and single leg DB calf raises 4x15
    RAW Powerlifting goals:
    16-17 yr old 220lb weightclass
    Current Deadlift: 500lb (Conventional)
    State Record: 530lb
    American Record: 611lb

Madcow 5x5 for 12 weeks, starting 2 weeks from now.

Only if you want. I don't train calves directly. If they started drastically falling behind the rest of my leg, then yeah I would.

Also to the poster above me no calve work is not very important in improving squats and deads. There are ALOT of powerlifters that squat and pull huge weights who do nothing for calves.

OP is not necessarily a powerlifter, and I was speaking from a general standpoint.
