    Keto Offseason

What's up guys, straight to the point. I've switched over to this lifestyle today being a little over 2 weeks now with macros
    170G fat
    100G Carbs

I'm a competitive bodybuilder/ powerlifter 24 years old 5'9 190. I'm prepping for about a year before I step on stage again so far I feel amazing loads of energy and strength increasing at a good pace.

Any tips or suggestions for a newbie

I'm at 100g carb so I can gradually adjust

Protein should be 1 gram per pound of lean mass. Also- 100g carbs is not keto. Especially if you are new at this.
Competing this August with the NPC.

Current Lifts on this cut.. BW approx 125
    Squat: 215lbx1
    Bench: 125lbx1
    DeadLift:215lbx1

I like food. I like coffee.

I understand 100g of carbs is far from keto, but like i said im slowly working down trying not to overwhelm myself. So about every week to every other week i will drop it 10g until the 50g or lower is reached. As far as protein 170 is about my LBM so i've always went in between 1-1.2 g of protein which leveled out at 205g so i put it at 200g.

With it being just week 2 i feel great! no bloating, energy is up like crazy, and strength is working its way up nicely. Being 7 weeks out from the IBP Nationals (Powerlifting) im excited to see how i respond with this type of diet

I can't understand the reasoning for this at all.
