What other methods are effective to determine if I am in ketosis or no?
In my country there are no keto sticks, and i am sure about that.

You have to get them at laboratorys in the clinics, there are no keto sticks in the pharmacies.
So they are really hard to get and if obtainable are way too expensive.

If your country has the internet I am willing to bet you have keto diasticks at the drug stores. You can order them on line as well.

check with your doctor, i checked with mine and got a prescription for ketostix, 50 stix costed me with a prescription around the 2$.
most of the pharmacies i checked into didn't sell it or wanted to make an order for me which will cost around the 40$ for 50 stix(yeah right!!)
