    Advice on bicep tendonitis

Hello people, I have bicep tendonitis in my left arm. It’s been about 7 weeks now. The doctor and everyone else advised to not do whatever hurts, so I don’t do benchpress which doesn’t hurt but is little bit uncomfortable. I do pin presses and push ups instead. All other exercises are fine provided I keep my elbows tucked in. But my arm hurts the next day, not during the exercises. Now do I keep doing the exercises provided they don’t hurt or will that make it worse. I also do massage with a ball so not sure if that is killing my tendon. Cheers for any advice

So i had an issue with my bicep tendon up until recently. It was about 6 months or so that I had the issue. I think it will just take time and resting it to help it heal.

I tried this a little as rehab-

So everyone tells you not to do what hurts but then you go ahead and keep doing it anyway (if it hurts the next day it still hurts)? Take a few days off from any lift that contributes to pain at any time. Then figure out what part of your routine lead to the problem in the first place.

No exercise other than bench press hurts in the gym, and I avoid bench press. It starts to hurt next day but Yes I have stopped lifting altogether

Hey, did you manage to fix it? Have the same issue, doing PT now but now a significant progress for the last month.

I would personally stop doing whatever exercise is causing you pain. I never do any squats because I know it will only cause me injuries down the road.
