I'm trying to shine my shoes to the point where I can blind people with the reflection. I've heard that a brush covered with women's nylons makes them shine like no other, but I'm skeptical. Can anyone confirm? My current routine for normal shoe care is to wipe them down, apply some lotion, AE premium polish, buff, second buff with a brush. Occasionally I'll use a cleaner/conditioner.

I actually really like regular J. Crew and feel they offer a great value if you catch it right. I don't really blame them, as that is really just the factory "game" in general and they are just trying to compete.

These are the sneakers I wore last summer (ignore the boots). People ITT won't like the logos but I've got to work with what I have and these are the best looking sneakers I could find.

I'm not the best at color coordination, so how versatile are they? What can I wear the blue ones with and what can I wear the brown ones with?

I pretty much wear the chukkas or whatever they are whenever I'm in long pants and only wear the sneakers when I'm in shorts (which is the entire summer).

Also, what is a good sneaker color that goes with everything? I was thinking white but the only not-terrible ones I could get here are the Jack Purcell converse.

Oh, and the picture was taken during winter so I've cleaned the sneakers since then.

I am a HS math teacher. Every Wednesday is college wear and every Friday is spirit wear. Usually on these days I'll wear a school polo and nice jeans or chinos, etc. It is getting to the end of the year though and combine that with the nice weather and zero fuks given by anyone.
