Does anyone play the daily's on fanduel? Here is my first crack at a lineup for opening day. I've never really played the daily baseball before so my strategy was basically to look at each hitter's career history vs the opposing pitcher.
P Julio Teheran $7,400 ATL@MIL ✗
C Welington Castillo $3,000 CHC@PIT ✗
1B Ryan Howard $3,200 PHI@TEX ✗
2B Chase Utley $3,500 PHI@TEX ✗
3B Casey McGehee $2,500 COL@MIA ✗
SS Alexei Ramirez $3,200 MIN@CWS ✗
OF Adam Jones $4,300 BOS@BAL ✗
OF Yoenis Cespedes $3,800 CLE@OAK ✗
OF Hunter Pence $4,000 SFG@ARI ✗

Just picked up Valverde myself because of Parnell; thanks for the opening day blown save! I'm hoping my lack of trigger pulling with Lindstrom doesn't bite me.
Side note Rant...
I have had 5 SP starts--Ryu (2), Tillman, Liriano, Bumgarner. Combined they have 1 earned run and only 1 win to show for it: yep that's 27 innings pitched and 1 earned run and only 1 win; meanwhile my H2H opponent had Cliff Lee starting and......... getting a win while earning 8 runs. Why does this happen to me? Why!?!?!?
Yes, yes I know this is only opening day, but this always happens to me through out the season--man fantasy baseball makes my hair fall out...
end side note rant.

Santos is only temporary as Janssan (sp?) will be the closer when he comes back. Lindstrom looks to have the job for now. And Valverde is a wildcard, as he blew up in Detroit. He could be replaced by someone else if he fails to do his job.
I would rank them Lindstrom, Valverde and then Santos.Twins/Vikings crew

Valverde isn't anything special I doubt he'll keep the role all season.
Anyone adding Drew Hutchison?
outside of pitchers, how many of you are believes in Kolten Wong or Chris Owings? Both had decent springs and starting off hot, liked that Owings beat out Didi for the starting role*Korea Krew* *MMMC*

Had Hutchinson last night !! Picked him up once R. Washington named Feliz to the set-up role.
I believe in Owings more than Wong based on the fact that Owings IMO offers more categories in our league. I have them both on my watch list, but currently don't want to drop anyone. I could use some SS help since Andrus is my only SS.
Edit: I also had CJ Wilson--unfortunately I fell for his good spring training, movement and velocity, hopefully he pitches better going forward.Last edited by BrianK.; 04-02-2014 at 09:38 AM.
