You dont need any supplements if you're eating enough. But it is a lot easier to get your protein needs by drinking it because it is either more convient or just some people dont wanna eat meat/fish all day long. Hope i helped

Of course you don't NEED supplements, but those people that try to do it without supplements either stay small forever or it takes them 8 years what they could have accomplished in 2 or 3.

OP Supplementation is very beneficial because there are a lot of nutrients that are far easier to eat via supplementing rather than eating pounds and pounds of food trying to get to even close to that amount. Also you can't find things like pre-digested protein naturally.

The question is how much protein are you getting. Calculate it. If you're not getting enough, then whey can help.

Utter garbage. Plenty of people manage more than sufficient protein without supplementation.

The only thing that is going to increase your weight- gain is increased cals. You won't gain weight no matter what, if you don't do that. Also the type of protein isn't a requirement. The key is, as long as you are getting appx 1-1.5 grams of protein per Ibs of bodyweight, whether it be from whole food sources, whey, casein, egg, etc.
