As soon as I mentioned that I felt the Phase 8 label was "a bit deceiving" in this thread: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showth...hp?t=164974561 a rep questioned me on it. Well, I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one who recognizes these practices. I don't really "blame" manufactures for doing it because it's business and also the reality is in order to be competitive they have to find ways to reduce their production costs. But personally, I would still rather try to find a more genuinely made, honestly-labeled protein.

    Anyone here use Trutein? http://jp.bodybuilding.com/store/bod...n/trutein.html

Let's just say that if you are looking for quality protein powder, stay away from Phase 8. It's just an inferior protein product all around. Many better choices out there.

While steaks are great, they're not healthy to consume on a daily basis. Western beef isn't that healthy, and neither is eating red meat all the time. I'm not one to expect much around here though from the young guys.

Most of you just care about phyiscal gains, the looks on the outside.

Not trolling, even if it's slightly unhealthier by the tinniest amount. I'm also not trolling about the average IQ of BB.com. It's not like he said chicken or fish. Anyway, the high price is from the Ajinomoto BCAAs, which are plant based pharmaceutical grade, meanwhile the whey isolate is obviously from New Zealand.

More power to you. I could never justify spending $40/lb for any protein supplement. At that point, real food options are just so much cheaper.

I'm currently enjoying cellucor cnc and smores... First time I've used the brand. Will purchase again. Have been using NOW protein for a while.

ajinomoto BCAAs are no healthier than normal lol. You are wasting money due to incorrect assumptions. You are basically who marketers love to sell to.
