    Has anyone done the Dave Tate 6 week bench program?

    My Bench press has been at a plateau for what feels like forever but my Dl and squat is still making linear progress. Has anyone had success with this?

    what is it? I thought the 6 week thing was about fixing your form/technique and becoming stronger

    What program are you currently running? I maxed 315 in November 2012, and was basically at a standstill until August of last year when I started 5/3/1. Since September, I have taken my 2 rep max from 295 to 325, and my six rep max from 265 to 295. So extrapolating that out, My 1 rm is around 345.

    Nothing in particular. Upper body lower body with a low rep focus on my big 3, I started focusing more on getting stronger in October and managed to take my dl from 460 to 535 for 4 singles. My bench has remained virtually unchanged, my pr is 320 and I started doing singles around 90% once a week (because I had so much success with it for DL's) I was up to 310 for 6 singles then then next week I tried 315, the next week. It felt heavy so I just did 300 for 10 singles, the next week I tried 315 again and barely got it for 1.
    It seems like it starts to progress then it regresses.

    My DL responds good to singles, but my bench does better hitting rep maxes ranging from 3-6

    I thought about it. I modified smolov jr since I can't squat or deadlift right now.
    Monday- 7x5 @75%
    Tuesday- bench lockouts from rack. usually 3-5 sets of <6 reps
    Thursday- 10x3 @85%
    Friday- CG floor press, same as the Tuesday lockouts
    No advertising in sig line

    Best lifts at <180lbs bodyweight
    425x5 deadlift
    265x11 squat
    250x5 bench
    135x15 standing military press
    BW+135lb dips x5

    I thought about doing Smolov's but where my DL has been increasing so much lately I don't want to do it.
