after 1 year my bench was 70kg/145lbs
squat was 200lbs
deadlift around 250lbs
and i was prob around 135lbs bodyweight
after 5 years.
bench is around 2 fiddy, squat 375, deadlift 465
everyone is different OP, i know people who lifted what i did after 2 years the first time they even trained but even they will tell you, as long as you are moving forward then your good, it really is true when people say its a marathon not a sprint, been plenty of people stronger than me after X amount of training down the years, but I'm still lifting and stronger than them now, don't get hurt either, you cant get better while your injured.I do it because i can, i can because i want to, i want to because you sed i couldent.

Depends on how much you eat, how you train and how much you weighed when starting out, howeer, I have been training for 11 months or so and started at 110 lbs, benching 80, squatting 90, deadlifting 135
Now my lifts are 140/225/315 and they could be a lot higher if it weren't for fukarounditis and sickness (started treatment for depression and lost 10 lbs in under a month and lost a lot of strength)No hate on the mod

315/225/405 definitely favors youngsters around 200lbs. Anything lighter will probably see fluctuation. This also assumes minimal technique errors and most likely no influence from extra stimuli. That means if there is conditioning, the novice lifter is already primed to handle it or it was minimal GPP to keep them from wheezing on their couch.
It also assumes a decent window of heights. 5'9"era to 6'1"era can get those stats in a year of dedicated training.550/385/655, 285 overhead press, 330 push jerk, 250 weighted dip, 190 weighted pull-up, 413.8 max weighted pull-up, 450 front squat, 365 RFESS, 305 x 2 log press, 400 (per arm) farmer's carry, 370 atlas stone, 31 pull-ups at 247.

lol @ the people saying you need to hit 2/3/4 after a year. I look at their stats and they are always 6' 200+ lbs. Bunch of delusional miscers thinking that its universal and applies to someone starting at 120-130 lbs

Hmm within 8 months my squat went from 185 - 415, but it was an extreme effort.
As a high schooler my bench went from 155 235 in a year with inconsistent effort, 270 after 1.5 of inconsistent.
Deadlift has gone from 135 to 425 in 4 months, but this is after lots of squatting. Extremely consistent.
But I'm heavier than some so this is probably affecting things, although I have mostly focused on hypertrophy.
I think from 0-225 bench is normal. (silva voice) Squat, 0-315 with hard work and deliberate effort. Deadlift, 0-350+ with hard work in first year. These sound very attainable for serious lifters.
Not all the strong guys in my gym are heavy, lots of crazy asians and mexicans that are small but lifting substantial weight, most of them dont look great but they can load the weight on.I Am Best Natural Athlete Long Time Dedicated: 9 Months of Lifting With Little Amount of Breaks

Threads like this always make me feel weak as fuk, I've just hit my 1 year mark and my lifts look like this, (not sure what my 1rms are, since I haven't maxed for a while)
85-90kg bench (187-200lbs)
115-120kg squat (253-264lbs)
145-150kg DL (320-330lbs)
In any case I think its a huge improvement from when I started lifting, so I'm happy with it for now, hopefully by the end of next year I should be on 2/3/4. I honestly have no idea how you guys get to 2/3/4 in just a year from non-lifting status

Hmm, kinda done goofed my first few months because I went on a bodybuilding split thinking that would be the best option, was a bit clueless about nutrition too, so i might've set myself back some. On a proper program with everything else perfectly dialled down, so I'm hopeful I'll hit 1/2/3/4 soon.

b 205 3/3/3
s 285 3/3/3
d 325 3/3/3
ohp 135 3/2/2
bb row 175 10/10/10
db shoulders 65 8/6/6
db incline 80 8/6/5
doing upper/lower/rest/pull/push/legs/rest
>main lifts besides BB row (b,s,d, ohp) i go for 3x3-5
>upper day lifts i go for 3x6-8
>all other accessories 3x10
started as a fatty with probably no lbm whatsoever. always ranged from 150-170 ,
highest was 170 at like 20%?
cut back down to 150 to like 12, and now I'm bulking again. currently 162ish
i maintained most of my strength during that cut so I'm hoping if i hit my strength goals this bulk, i can maintain it when i cut back down to 150Last edited by blu51994; 02-15-2014 at 11:21 AM.
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that being shredded was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘shredded’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life.
